Years ago, I bought a "microscreen" shaver that claimed to "shave as close as a blade or your money back"... I believe that company owes me money... It merely massaged your skin. This shaver, however, does a really good job, once you get the circle shaving motion down. Is it as close a shave as my preferred single blade safety razor? No. It is far more convenient though, wash face, slap on some pre-electric shave and 3 minutes later you look and feel much better, more human. The shaver charges up quickly and the charge holds for a good long time, even with daily use. When it runs low, bung it on the charger and leave it for half an hour or so. If you've messed up and it runs out halfway through shaving, bung it on the charger for 5 or 10 minutes and it'll finish the job for you. The system comes with a cleaning pod. I've found the cleaning pod to be a great addition. After each shave, brush out the inside of the head, stick it on the pod and switch the shaver on, it does it's thing and around a minute later, the shaver is clean, lubricated and smells nice. I intentionally waited until I'd used the shaver for over 1 month before reviewing as it's easy to say "it's great" while you're still in the "brand new in box" stage, I personally think you need to really use something like this for a while, get to know it's quirks and how to actually get the best out of it... So in my opinion, the shaver is excellent and I got it at what I consider a very reasonable price. I was worried the 3 blade head looked cumbersome but in actual use, it's not. It does the bulk of your face in no time, pop out the wee trimmer to do the sides, job done. Next, you pop the head open, brush it out and then close it and pop it on the cleaning pod... the cleaning pod, if not essential, is definitely worth using. If for no other reason, it's antimicrobial, so less likely to end up with a dodgy skin infection. Any doubts that it's not doing anything will disappear the first time you need to change the cleaning solution. The amount of hairs and dead skin cells in there proves it's doing it's job. The whole process from start shaving to zip up the pouch at the end takes about 5 minutes.

Dommage qu'il soit fabriqué en UK car les prises manquent d'écartement, Phillips devrait revoir leurs importations en qualité Française pour éviter ce problème . Sinon rasoir de qualité...!

Wow this shaver is amazing. I was replacing an older Phillips shaver that was adequate but not cutting so well and thought it was time for a new one rather than replace the heads which I had already done a couple of times. I remember having my old shaver from new about 10 years ago and thought it was pretty good but this new one is in a league of its own. I just couldn’t believe how quick and silent it was to shave. My shave time has gone from over 3 minutes to around 1 minute because it seems to get everything on the first pass, longer and shorter hairs. So shaving time is much quicker. It cuts really close and does it with ease, I really don’t know what more you could ask for in a shaver. The battery life seems great and the auto cleaning vessel that came with my model is actually very good, although I find a quick manual clean most of the time is fine and then use the auto cleaner say once a week. The lock feature is good too, no more accidental running down the battery during travel. All in all I would strongly recommend this shaver. Like someone else said, the Bluetooth and app is a gimmick but some people might like it. 5 stars from me.

Bought this as the daily chore of shaving with blade and brush is time consuming. I love my DE razors and single edged blades but recently I’ve been rushing it and getting cuts and nicks. Decided to try an electric shaver again after having a Braun series 7 years ago. I liked the Braun but always found it left me wanting a closer shave. Never had a Philips before so went for the series 7000 as the price of the 9000 scared me. Lol. First shave was rough as I just struggled to get the circular motion thing but after a few days I started to get the hang of it. Still not amazing but closer than the Braun ever got me. I found out that the sh91 blades for the series 9000 fit this model of series 7000 and the difference in shave is remarkable. The twin cutters make all the difference. Cuts much much closer and very smooth. It’s gone from being just ok to being fantastic. Was seriously considering sending it back for the Panasonic Arc 5 but it’s a keeper now. The quick clean pod is cool but a bit gimmicky and will quickly become expensive if used daily. Lot of plastic waste also which can be recycled but I would rather avoid it. The app is utterly useless and doesn’t work at all. Just won’t connect whatever I do but again it’s a gimmick and who cares really? Still not as good as blade and brush but no blood letting and a remarkable shave from an electric.

La prise du chargeur n'est pas à la bonne dimension très difficile à mettre, une fois enfoncée en force impossible à retirer.
