AWESOME Camp/Swim Bag for Kids (to Keep Wet Stuff Separate)!
I have tried SO MANY different brands of bags for a suitable bag for my kids to take to camp that keeps their wet swim/pool stuff separate to not soak everything else in the bag. This BEMYGREENBAG is *nearly* perfect, definitely THE BEST I've found! It actually has 2 separate plastic-sheeting enclosed pouches (the entire middle section is one, and then within the largest main section, there is another smaller waterproof pouch. The ONLY negative I have is that I wish both water proof pouches were even larger (especially the smaller one in the main section. Oh, and I wish it came in more fun colors (my kiddo would LOVE a yellow one!).This backpack is super light, yet durable! It has actual backpack straps (even lightly padded!), not the awful drawstring-type straps that my kids invariably get so twisted up they never lay flat ever again and make opening and closing the bag increasingly more difficult (you get zippers instead for closure which is infinitely better). It has been used by my 4-year-old and 10-year-olds daily (and my older child is REALLY tough on his things) and has no rips or snags, and no holes in the waterproof plastic pouches. Every other style bag I have tried I inevitable have to start performing emergency sewing/thread surgery to keep the plastic from completely tearing away from the fabric of the bag. This bag is plenty roomy for camp stuff, too! I wish the middle pouch was a little roomier, but you can fit water shoes (my older kiddo wears a Little Kid 3 which are fairly long) and a towel for sure (though maybe not that with a wet swimsuit, too). The smaller plastic pouch fits a wet rashguard + swim trunks (though fitting two such outfits is pretty tough if you kid needs 2 swimsuits for multiple swims at different times of the day). The front most pouch is tiny though, we just stick an extra pair of socks + underwear there. The main pouch is plenty large enough to fit a brown bagged lunch, sunscreen canister, goggles, spare clothes, etc. The side pockets are padded and well-made to fit a full 20oz water bottle and shows no sign of breaking/ripping.If you are a parent looking for a camp bag for your kids that 1) keeps wet swim stuff separate from everything else; 2) is comfortable for a child to wear; 3) is durable, and 4) is easy to open/close for a child, then BUY this bag. You will not regret it! I only hope they offer more colors in the future!

Great backpack for travel
This was a perfect backpack for traveling. It’s not very big but it’s nice and light and worked perfectly for day trips on our last vacation. It has a waterproof front pocket that has a special lining. Not sure how water proof the rest is since we didn’t get much rain.

Good idea - but
The media could not be loaded. There are a few cons. First, I don't think I ever heard of a backpack that has a "Wet pouch" built in so as to put in wet clothing such as a swimsuit or towel. It is an excellent idea and still the plastic compartment in this backpack is not very big and if you have a rather large fluffy towel it would not fit in the "Wet pouch." Also if the pouch breaks there is no way to fix it. You cannot sew it. I doubt you can put glue on it to repair it in such a situation. The plastic material feels rugged but perhaps after longer-term use it could get damaged. Also should you have to clean the backpack, then how to do so?Also the backpack is packable into its own built in pouch but it was hard to get the backpack out of the pouch and it foreseeably will be hard to fold and put the backpack into the pouch when it comes time for it.But as for the pros, the material that this backpack is made of has a good robust feel and is still lightweight. The zippers also feel strong and the main compartment has two two-way zippers. The backpack has roomy compartments and can hold a good deal of items.Perhaps this backpack is not the best for every-day use as because of the special "Wet pouch" it has the backpack would be best when you need to carry some item that has to be kept from getting wet or if you need to keep other items in your backpack from getting wet because of one wet item that can be put in the "Wet pouch."But it is good to have a backpack like this around for such occasions. Perhaps if you often go to the beach or pool and swim a lot, it may be what you need .Also since it is hard to fold the backpack into the carrying pouch as well as take the backpack out of the pouch, it may not be the best to have to reach for when you need to pull a backpack out of its carry pouch without so much pulling and tugging and struggling. (It may be difficult for people with arthritic hands). But this back pack has good features and serves its own purpose.I would recommend it, but it depends on your own needs.I am not so sure I will keep this backpack at this time though. I actually like it enough, but it is not exactly what I need at the moment.I will update on any further findings.UPDATE 1/14/24I am sad to say that I had to return this backpack. In my original review above I said the zippers feel strong and in a way they do . At least that was a first impression (I have seen backpacks with much thinner and weaker zippers) but then when I tried to open the backpack to put items in it, it seems that the area where the zippers are sewn onto, are designed so that there are small "flaps" on the side (see update on video) but the flaps are too small and when the zipper is pulled, it will tend to get stuck in the material of the small "flaps."The backpack is still a good idea but the manufacturer needs have the deign department do better work on the zippers. The zippers should be better quality and the "flaps" have to be of a size and dimension so that it does not get in the way of the zipper.

Perfect foldaway backpack
This was perfect for our trip. The fact that its water proof was the reason i bought it but storing it is so easy bcuz you can easily fold it up and stash it pretty much anywhere! Definitely recommend this backpack!!

Waterproof
I took this backpack to Alaska because it’s known for it rainfall. And it didn’t disappoint , it rained almost every day. This backpack went with me every day and it held so many things In the many different pockets and kept everything dry and safe. It was easy to carry with the top handle if I didn’t want to put it on my back, and is lightweight too. Would recommend highly.

Broke within 2 weeks
Like: lightweight and folds.Dislike: Started to fray rather quickly. But no biggie--it seemed to be reinforced well. Apparently not enough-the strap broke after 2 weeks of intermittent use while traveling. Too late to get refund and left overseas without a backpack and now I have to waste time getting one.

I like the design, but the tab at the top only lasted about 2 months
I use backpack instead of a purse and I like that this is lite weight. I also like the various compartments and that it is water resistant. I would buy again. But about a month and a half of using it, the strap at the top of the bag disconnected on one side, this is the strap that allows you to hang on a hook quickly. I can no longer hang the bag on my hook. I have to hang it by the arm strap instead.
