The color cover shot is the only Caldecott image that isn’t a terrible black-and-white, fuzzy reproduction. They make a big point in the description about Caldecott being the illustrator but what they deliver is very substandard. The text itself is worth reading although it’s not laid out like the original book. I thought it would be a nice gift for my grandchildren but I wouldn’t give it to them now.
