I recently bought this 5 pack of bladed jigs and took them out on the water for about two hours. I actually forgot to try them at first, so I only ended up using them for the last 30 minutes. Even with that short amount of time, I caught two bass, one around 1.25 pounds and the other about 1 pound. Overall, I think these jigs look great and seem well made. They run a little shallow, so I found that a slower retrieve helps keep them down in the water better. I also noticed that during a stop and go retrieve, the blade would occasionally get hung up and stop vibrating. When that happened, I was able to fix it by letting the lure sink for a moment and then giving it a couple of quick jerks to get it working properly again. Overall, I like them, and I liked them enough to buy more. For the price, they seem like a solid option and definitely caught fish for me.

Chatterbaits are our go-to lures for bass fishing throughout the entire season. These MadBites always fit the bill for what we are looking for in a good casting chatterbait, with good action and sharp hooks. We usually to through a set each season and will sharpen blades half-way through a season. One downfall, as with most chatterbaits you don't lose, is that the skirts will thin out and need replacing. We often buy cheap skirts and replace as needed, which also allows us to adapt colors better. Of note, I often tip these with paddlebaits or mimic shiners and haven't seen any issue with the action.

Update: I got to try these today, and they are very nice. Are they a Z-Man Chatter bait, no, but very close and for the price I would get them again... Original review. I have not used these yet so I can only give them 4 out of 5 stars. The build looks good. There is still ice on the water here, and I can't fully test them yet.
