I think I'm starting to get addicted to this thing!
First ever Wera ratchet, and it might not be my last. Overall impression upon opening it is very high quality. I was impressed with the locking mechanism, and how it works, but figured I would not use it much. I used it on the first job, a J-bolt on a battery hold down, I got the nut loose, and then swapped the head to "screwdriver mode" and went to down! One of the nicest features I like is the direction wheel. Instead of a lever, that I often accidentally flip, this one is not going to do that. It takes a very distinct action to change directions, yet it's easy to do when you want it changed. No more accidental direction changes here, as I have had with other ratchets. Love the button release for the sockets, it is BIG, and works very well. I love the overall feel of the ratchet, the handle is very ergonomic, comfortable, and well made. It's got a good weight to it, it feels very high quality and well made. I would buy this again if I lost it. Quite impressed with Wera tools so far!

Will take a bullet for you - adjustable head.
Adjustable and will take a bullet for you. Designed in Germany from a German company and likely manufactured in Czech Republic. Especially enjoy the overall style, design and manufacturing quality. Have a huge selection of WERA tools going into retirement. Dutch people have a saying (paraphrased) "Cheap stuff is expensive stuff". If it breaks , causes damage, doesn't inspire self-confidence and great workmanship. Don't buy cheap stuff... Easy to award FIVE STARS.

Excellent quality ratchet
Excellent product, you could not expect less from the German engineering At first I bought this ratchet taking advantage of the discounted price, since I had never heard of this brand. I set out to "investigate" (if you can call it that) in garagejournal.com and elsewhere, coming to the conclusion that this brand produces excellent tools. A few observations: The selector is metallic (green color fringes around, cause the feeling that it is plastic). Therefore, no need to worry about scratches or harm caused by friction. The lock to rotate the head is plastic, however, is irrelevant because it does not take much pressure. In addition, its construction is sturdy. In terms of design, looks bulky in pictures but once you have in your hands is similar to other ratchets of this type, and it is logical, since the purpose of these ratchets lies in providing better access. I've always been a fan of brands like Hazet (top quality in my opinion) and Craftsman (balance between quality and price), however, swivel head versions of these brands do not have more than 36 teeth, and in this case the Zyklop has 72. In terms of maintenance, I used it fully greased and their performance is excellent, on the other hand, it is easy to clean (although it seems difficult) Regarding performance, the ratchet mechanism feels strong, however, only time will tell me. Although regardless of brand and warranty policies, I have never been in favor of applying excessive force to the ratchets. For use as a screwdriver, I'm not sure of its usefulness, at least in my case. Maybe recommend the models in 1/4" and 3/8", if required to use this modality.

After years of use, this ratchet has served me very well with no issues. Highly Recommend! !
After a couple years of ownership I can confidently recommend this ratchet. It makes for very easy manipulation in tight spaces using any variety of 1/4" sockets. The only slight drawback is the button to release the sockets is a little cumbersome and awkward to use with mechanics gloves on, but this is in no way a strike against this Wera product. It's just worth mentioning and it may be contributed to my limited arthritic hands to operate. Buy with confidence!!

Swiveling head should be very useful
Was not able to use it in a real repair situation but it seems to be made well and the swivel head will be useful to get into difficult areas

The Wera 8000 C Zyklop Speed ratchet is very well made and sturdy. The wrench has a very wide angular movement and can also be used straight twist like a screwdriver. The build quality will provide many years of service.

Fazit: Billig kauft man zwei Mal.
