I’ve ALWAYS been a Dove Pink Bar guy, but I recently took a chance on the Rejuvenating Pomegranate & Hibiscus Tea scent, and I’m glad I did. You still get that classic Dove creaminess we all expect, but the fragrance is what really won me over. The mix of pomegranate and hibiscus tea hits this perfect herbal‑meets‑fruity balance that doesn’t lean too masculine or too feminine — just clean, fresh, and flattering. This guy appreciates that. I knew it was legit when my best friend in Paris told me he uses Dove bar soap too. With all the fancy French, hoity‑toity options he has access to, that’s saying something. If you want clean skin that won’t turn into dry scales, Dove Bar Soap is the way to stay smooth, moisturized, and ash‑free — just like me.

Love Dove beauty bars - they allow me to forget that I have dry, sensitive, irritated skin. We are just coming back from a short trip to Mt. St. Helen's and Mr. Ranier and after hiking around and getting sweaty, salty, filthy and a bit sunburnt in places, it was lovely to sink down into a warm bath, soak my muscles and reset the comfort of my skin. It's July and when I get sweaty my skin stings and gets sensitive and irritated around all my underwear elastic lines - it's very hard to ignore and makes me irritable. (In winter I get dry and itchy and these bars come to my rescue in other ways.) The treatment always starts with a bath and a Dove bar. Any bar of soap would remove the sweat but leave the "raw" feel whereas Dove bars clean and moisturize the irritation away. The lather from these bars is rich and soothing. It rinses cleanly. Other soaps leave me feeling "stripped" and the irritation remains. With Dove my skin feels clean, moist and peaceful. I can stop scratching and adjusting and fussing. PEACEFUL- my skin is peaceful and I can relax. I am ridiculously attached to the pink soaps and the oval shapes. The shape of the bar is wonderful and I noticed it when I tried the new rectangular bars from Dove. I found the corners uncomfortable as I'm so used to the comfort of the these palm-friendly contours. I love the femininity of the ovals, the lovely colors, the amazing smells, all of that. Very appealing on a tactile, visual, and fragrance level. But the reason I keep coming back is THE WAY THEY MAKE ME FEEL. (Also, NO heavy plastics - we all get a little halo for that.) I'm a customer for life.
