Thought it would be great for the edges of a small lawn. First try it did about two feet and then the plastic cutters broke. Tried two more times same thing. Yes it’s lightweight, yes it’s cordless, yes it was easy to assemble however don’t believe the hype it doesn’t work and was a complete waste of money. If I could give minus stars I would. It’s now in the bin and I finished my edging with scissors, at least they work.

I am disabled I nearly jumped for joy when I saw this advertised. IT was forty pounds but I got it off Amazon for £30. I was pleased as I struggle to do my overgrown garden. I Have a petrol one but I don't want to use it as it's on it's last legs and being disabled can't use it for very long if at all. So I got this one and thought because of the zip ties for cutting it would be easy to use. Nope they broke off within minutes. Every time I had to change it. They wouldn't come out as shown on the box I had to get plyers to change them Then I'd go back and do a few inches and then snap off it went again. Clever concept but they like the wire just aren't strong enough and there was no difference whatsoever. At least with the wire as long as it was off you could pull it through and go back to it. If you have three blades of grass per inch and strong fingers then okay.

the length of time it charged for charger now does not work

Wanted this to keep the grass down between my raised beds. If the grass is more than a couple of inches high it wraps around the cable ties - it only seems to work on very short grass which I don't want strimmed.Tried it on weeds - again incapable of cutting the weeds that have stems more than a few millimetres thick.Bought the trimmer as it was extremely light which it is - even with the battery but it is nowhere as good as the hype.

After excitingly making this up. I had soon spent two hours trying to cut a small section of grass, it just didn’t want to cut. I thought maybe charge for the four hours advised. I then proceed. This really doesn’t cut and hurts your back while bent down. Which wouldn’t be a problem for me if it did cut. I think the most scary thing about this is on my second attempt of trimming the grass patch, I had been electrocuted through the arm. This was on a warm yet not hot day with no water. I’m a bit worried about using this one again. For the price I can’t be too grumpy about it’s ability to cut grass. Hopefully they are safety checked so no one else gets electrocuted

Great value for money and arrived soiner than expected.

Avoid this product it is cheap and nasty with a full price ticket.I never actually got to use the product as the zip ties and pin to hold them were both missing. While assembling I noticed that the strimmer felt very cheap and flimsy and upon further inspection, find the item was not actually from the UK but from China.I have no doubt if I could have used it, it would probably not have lasted 5 minutes.Returned item, would not recommend.
