Our vet says these are better than brushing at removing tartar. We will check back with her in a few months to see if a sedation cleaning is still needed. In the meantime, dog breath is much improved and our pup enjoys her bed time “treat”.

When she gets this treat, she runs all over the house making whimper/squeaky noises. At first I thought she was distressed, but it's just her jam with this thing. She doesn't try to bury it, but she runs from room to room, jumping on the bed and chairs with it, until she finally settles down in her kennel and chews up every crumb. She is a 16 pound Shih Tzu/Poodle mix and she does best with the medium size, The minis were too small for a good solid chew for her.

These are great dental treats for your dog at a reasonable price. Purina is a vet recommended company and i trust them with my pets. I bought these for my senior dog who is 11. She was obsessed and looked forward to having her dental treat every day! I will recommend staying away from these however if your senior dog has bad teeth or dental issues!

But they do not work well alone. My dog is 8 lbs. so I have to cut them up. She tolerates them, but is not excited about them. An enzyme cleaner that is sprinkled on food along with these is a great combination. I learned with my last small dog. I faithfully gave her the green things. It is my belief they helped her breath but didn't do a thing for her teeth. These seem to scour the teeth and the enzyme gets off the plaque.

All three of my dogs tripped over each other, trying to get to me when I have these treats for them. What I like about them is that they are good for their dental hygiene.

I have tried so many treats for my dog to maintain his dental hygiene and he just does not like anything I have bought. I bought this product at the supermarket on a whim and to my surprise he loves it an craves it. I found them on Amazon for an incredible price. So much lower than at any store. This treat also is eaten within 5 minutes of putting in the mouth which is great to avoid pieces of the treat about the house

I was told this item would arrive on or before June 5th. It arrived on the 14th. Other than that - my dog likes them so that's what really counts.
