will this work on rockband 4 for the xbox one?

I havnt tried it with xbox one but i did try a rock band 2 guitar with RB 4 on PS4 and it didnt work

Pls help . the fret buttons do not work. this is the second one we have tried. my 8yr old is so sad. pls help .

Are you using the outer or inner fret buttons? The ones closest to the body are only for solos on specific games. The ones near the end are for regular play. It is very unlikely that all the fret buttons on 2 separate guitars will malfunction.
