COVERGIRL Katy Kat Eye Mascara Black 0.35 fl oz (Packaging may vary)

I have been searching for a good waterproof mascara since Cover Girl discontinued their Marathon Mascara. I had found a good replacement in Mally's Waterproof Mascara then, apparently, it's been discontinued because it is no longer available on QVC or the Mally website. I read the reviews about the Katy Kat mascara and gave it a try. I really like the wearability of the mascara. It doesn't flake or run if your eyes tear. However, the brush is an unusual shape. There is a ball shape at the tip which helps get the eyelashes in the corner of your eyes and the lower lashes. The are a couple of rows of bristles that taper from short to longer and seem to twist around the wand. This is what takes some time to get accustomed to using. Be sure to wipe excess mascara onto the lip of the tube or these twisted bristles can leave clumps on your lashed. If you do get clumps, they seem to brush out fairly easily with the wand or an eyelash brush.

Though I do NOT care for KP, this mascara is fantastic. No flaking, smudging or fading throughout the day and into the night++. Tube lasts a lot longer than other brands by far. The waterproof formula is THE best whereas the water resistant formula irritates my eyes. They constantly water and feel gritty until I've completely washed from my lashes. When 1st opening a new bottle, wand packed with formula- just touch wand gently to lashes instead of combing through top lashes, same technique on bottom lashes instead of applying using back and forth motion with wand. Sometimes 2 packs can be found for some price as single packaged product. A+××

I really like katy mascara makes my lashes actually longer.

These products right out of the box were totally dry and had absolutely no mascara that was usable in them. Plus they are non-returnable. Don't buy them you will just lose your money. Aggravating!

With this mascara I don't even have to consider using my eyelash curler! The unique brush design seems to flare them up and out without clumping!! It didn't flake off and irritate my eyes like some of them tend to do, either! I have always loved wearing blue mascara and had used it off and on for the last 45 years! I always bought Maybelline because the color of their blue was so uniquely bright! . Not at all like some other brand's dull navy color that looked more like black/grey when worn! WELL! When I saw the price for Maybelline Great Lash, much to my chagrin, I discovered it had been a lot longer than I thought that I had last purchased blue mascara It used to be one of the more inexpensive well known brand! I was shocked at the price which was way more than double what I paid for the Katy Kat and guess what...the color is identical! Katy's is also the superior product in my opinion!!

this color is not the same vibrant blue it used to be ..and the mascara does not go on very well ...

I have used Katy Kat blue mascara since it first came out. I love the full coverage with a few layers. Its bright and noticeable. I did notice that i seemed to be going through it quickly and when i tried to order again it was out of stock. I tried another brand (which I am not good with change so I did not want to) but I am glad i did. the other brand it brighter and more noticeable. Although I remain a Katy Kat fan and will buy again I am sure, I am currently thrilled they were out of stock and i was able to try another brand that I love also and slightly more.

This mascara is a great Color amd looks so nice when I wear it. I use is everyday and will be orderingit again.

Cost about the same as my stores, just currently more convenient. Will most likely buy again.

Doesn't wear off under your eyes during the day, creates long lashes and no clumps.
