What is the uva rating on this? thank you.

I bought the black one and use it in Las Vegas NV. I have very fair skin and it has protected me well from the very high UV sun rays here. The actual UV rating I have no idea but it has kept me from getting burnt and I burn very easily.

I see several low star reviews say that the umbrella broke in a short period of time. Those of you who gave 5 star reviews, how long did yours last?

I've had mine for over a year, but I've only used it 6 or 7 times. Mostly for sun shade at desert events, but I used it in the rain once. It has held up beautifully, and it's a big hit! I absolutely love it! It was a bit small for rain, didn't cover as much as a normal umbrella, but, I looked amazing! Lol! I probably wouldn't use it if it were really windy, just because I like it so much, I wouldn't want it to get messed up. Also, the pics don't show it, but the black contrast stripes have small white polka dots. (I have the black and white one) Not exactly the look I was going for, but it's ok. I may still go over it with a sharpie and color them in one day, but probly not.

It's portable shade.. pretty simple concept. UV comes from all directions btw.
