I spent more money on my first Selkirk paddle. I found this great deal and now use the Selkirk from.this set. It is heavier than my original lightweight one and I now have more power behind my serves, returns, etc. I am a relatively new player, not much of an expert in pickleball paddles, but the 2 paddles, ball and bag cost me half of my first paddle and I am playing better since I started using then. don't think you can beat the quality for the price. (I paid $49.99).

This is a fantastic beginner set! The set of paddles are durable and very lightweight. The game is much easier to play with lightweight paddles. The grip is perfect and the control and ease of the paddle is everything a beginner needs. The bag is a simple design and functions well as a sling over the shoulder. Price is on point, too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love that the product arrived overnight at 6:00 am next day … today! This is a beginner set, I'm a beginner. Yesterday I watched other players to learn the serving rotation & once I did I got online and ordered, based on what other players were playing with and a few recommendations. When I got to the court today, I was told I got a good deal & a decent beginner racket. Glad I got two because another women sat watching like I was yesterday and I was able to offer her my other racket. Remember, you place your racket on a stand with other rackets to hold your place, and you want a decent racket sitting up there. lol once I learned how scoring & serving rotation worked I decided to start playing. I wanted the paddle so I could okay today and it happened. Apparently, other players said I got a good deal learned how scoring worked, checked out which brand most players were using and ordered the SLK paddles. I wanted them overnighted so I could play today, which I did. and was told by other Pickleball peeps last night at my gym that this was a reasonable deal and SLK is a trusted, well know brand. Several young boys, who I believe know were using this brand last night varying in design and quality. Since I’m new and don’t know brands, I sat and watched other players last night to see what they were using, asked a few their opinion & placed my order. I price shopped and Amazon was inline either other retailers. Paddle arrived and I played today for first time! I felt better putting a brand like SLK in the rack to wait my turn. I was glad I had the extra racket as I already let someone borrow it who was sitting there watching like I was last night .

Summary: these Selkirk NEO pickleball paddles are an excellent beginner/ intermediate option. I would highly recommend them. The included indoor balls have added nothing to my experience as I play exclusively outdoors. I am writing this review after three months of regular play with this item (3+ hr/week). The paddles are a light-medium weight and medium size, so they will be appropriate for a wide range of users. I have been playing for several years and am at the intermediate level. I previously played with the Champion Graphite Paddle. Although comparable in price, I find the Selkirk NEO to be better. The paddles themselves are well constructed. I have scraped them against the ground and walls, and they have sustained no damage. The grip is simple yet effective. It has not started to wear down in any way yet. it is neither sticky or tattered. The paddle is a light-medium weight making ball control its strong suit. The paddle is quiet which is important to note since some courts have noise restrictions. The Selkirk NEO grip, pop, and face have stayed fresh after about 3-6 hours of weekly use over three months. Seeing as these are one of the cheapest composite paddles on the market, I would highly recommend any beginners through intermediate players buy them. The balls are indoor balls (and low quality at that). They are nice to have for a few practice swings at home. Otherwise they have not seen any play time as I play exclusively outdoors. Pros: good control, nice grip, well balanced, durable, light-medium weight, nice colors, cheap. Cons: no option for accompanying outdoor balls

I read a review for these before purchase. Glad I did. The review was positive and the video appeared genuine so I jumped on the purchase. I was so happy to find that the review and video was exactly correct. These paddles are GREAT!. I purchased one set for me and my wife and then purchased a second set for my two boys. We all play now and can not be happier with them. They are a great feel, look and playability. They are certified too, not that I had a real care about that, but it is nice to know they are officially paddles that could be used in an official game. These paddles are great and price is well worth it. Don't buy cheaper paddles (you will only wind up buying better ones) or even more expensive ones (because you don't need them unless you are a pro). These are perfect.

Learning to play pickleball from my friend who is a competitive player. She suggested these rackets for me because she wanted me to have a quality racket that would last and include features of more advanced rackets without the high cost. These fit that goal. The graphite surface enables easier spins. It’s lightweight and prevents fatigue during longer play. And I really like the grip. It fits my hand well and is easy to hold even when my hand gets sweaty. The set of paddles comes with some starter outdoor balls. The balls are ok, not great. One cracked already but I plan on ordering quality balls (an indoor set and an outdoor set) soon.

The paddles are light and excellent quality. It’s fun now to play as the paddles deliver strong shots with less efforts.

These are excellent paddles for newcomers to pickleball. The paddles are lightweight, comfortable to hold and the honeycomb design has a lot of forgiveness and reasonable power, which is great for beginners. Came as a pair with carry bag. Highly recommended.
