Provided you follow the on-line instructions precisely and spend time on good preparation this glue does an outstanding job. I revived three pairs of boots - including one well-loved thirty year old pair that I'd more or less given up on - with a couple of tubes of this and some on-line rubber heels, rescuing about £90 worth of footwear from the bin for an outlay of around £15 and a couple of hours work. Strong, no-nonsense stuff - highly recommended.

A very favourite leather satchel handbag had acquired a tear, and the stitching was coming apart by the handles... it didn't owe me anything, it must be 30 years old, but I thought it was worth a quick try at a fix. The instructions were east to follow; I dutifully spread glue on both the handbag and the patch, twice; waited until tacky; and used clothespegs to hold it tight overnight. Result; a wonderfully restored handbag, already tested :)

I have a pair of shoes in very good condition, but for some reason in one of them the sole just came off. I decided I would try to fix them, and ordered this adhesive. It is fairly simple to use, like all contact adhesives, smear both surfaces liberally, allow to air dry for some twenty minutes or so, and then stick together, and clamp for a day or so, job done. I now have a new pair of shoes that will probably last another 15 years.

The rubber seal, which acts as a wind guard for our VW T5 camper pop top, had come away at one end. This fixed it back in place with ease (rubber seal to metal van roof) and months later, it is still holding fast.We also used it to stick a fabric patch (waterproof canvas) into the pop roof, where we wanted to create a flap cover on a mesh vent, for when in winder weather. And again it fixed it in place with ease, making a strong seal.I’m sure it will prove useful again, but we are glad to have found it.

The sole was coming away on a pair of Nike Air Pegasus after a couple of weeks of PE with Joe. Following the instructions worked perfectly. Applied glue evenly to both surfaces (using one of my son’s glue spreaders), left for 5-10 minutes until the glue was tacky and then pressed together. As you can see from the image I used a clamp to hold the two parts together for 24 hours (after stuffing screwed up newspaper inside the shoe to retain the shape). Another week of PE with Joe under my belt and the trainers are like new. Would definitely buy again.

Bought this to repair a pair of Vans Slip-ons. Only 3 months old and the front canvas part of the shoe had completely detached from the rubber sole. Couldn't justify binning them due to the original cost and the fact that they still have years of wear left in them. Looked around and found this glue at a very good price. So decided to give this a go, followed the instructions that came with it and it was brilliant. Stuck the canvas and the insole back in position and seems to hold really well. Hopefully it will last a good while and I don't have to buy a new pair too soon.

I purchased this to stick on a sole from a cheap pair of PE pumps which had fallen off. This glue is great. It not only stuck the sole down but nearly my fingers too! I have since used it on my own shoes and it seems to do the trick. Just be careful the colour of sole you choose to stick on as one pair are a little discoloured from the glue (cheap PE shoe). This didnt matter to me but might to others. Spread on both sides and wait for 5 minutes (longer if needed) at least before pushing the two sides back together and holding with a clamp/ something heavy.

This glue is amazing, bought it to repair a gazebo where the velcro tabs where ripping off, stuck them back with this and i have to say it is better and stronger than when i bought it, i would recommend this glue without reservation to anyone, professionals and DIY everyone should have this glue in their home or tool box, it sticks absolutely anything, i have used this on wood skirting also and a fantastic job, if i could i would give this glue 10 stars, a massive thank you to Bochem for a fantastic product, will definitely be buying more.
