The Witch's Book of Power

I am a seasoned Witch and have been reading occult type books for 25+ years and I still found much of value in this book. I can honestly say wish I had this book 20 years ago, I think it would have lit a fire in me much sooner. A lot of new books are the same old rehash of the same old tired stuff that you can get in any 101 book. This book delves much deeper than most and I highly recommend it for beginners especially but even us older Witches will find it a good investment.

Devin Hunter rejuvenates practical witchcraft in this detailed and informative book. I found the clear instructions and well-thought out organization to provide a stable guide in Devin's system. He makes a contribution to the field with his concept of energy frequency, something easily understandable. There is so much information packed in this book, covering topics from developing one's internal, personal power to accessing external cosmic powers and external entities. The Witches' Book of Power provides a full focused resource for personal empowerment in today's neo-pagan movement.

I just finished Devin Hunter book The Witches Book of Power. It took me awhile to read this book because of how busy and focused I have been on my personal life, career and my new marriage. Before I picked up Devin's book I was starting to feel lost again spiritual wise. I felt like every book I kept finding on witchcraft was starting to feel the same. It was almost like I was loosing my connection to the craft itself. I stop meditation for a couple of months, I stopped doing my own rituals.It was until I started reading Devin's book. It was nothing like I have ever read before. I was mind blown and learning something every chapter.Once I hit the middle of the book I was finding myself again. I was starting to build that relationship with my higher self all over again. I even built my own altar dedicated to my power. This book doesn't just explain the ways of Witchcraft. It helps you find that inner flame and makes you realize you're the power. There is so much positive stuff I can say about this book but I could go on forever.Thank you Mr. Hunter. I cannot wait for your next book The Witches Book of Spirits.Blessed Be.

I like the author’s commitment to his path and his ability to share what has worked for him. I would give it five stars but feel that his teaching is best used in a coven or with a teacher. This material is difficult to use as a solitary.

I am not great with reviews so I will just say that this title touches on an area that is seriously lacking in many modern titles. It is presented in a very approachable and understandable way that I think will allow any reader to walk away better for their time spent on the reading and practices described within. In over 30 years of digesting titles I have a bookshelf with less than 10 go to books that have had an impact on my life and practices and thankfully there is room for this one there.

A frank, direct discussion on witchcraft and power, this debut book by Devin Hunter fills a much-needed place in the world of witchcraft. "The Witch's Book of Power" is well-written in a comfortable, familiar-feeling voice that is both informative and empowering. While definitely coming from the author's experiences and tradition, any witch of any practice will find this book useful in growing their skills and power. I own a small metaphysical shop and this book is always one of our top sellers. Highly recommended!

I found the exercises in this book to be incredibly valuable. I found it at a time when I was extremely busy with work and my daily practice was suffering. This book really made a difference and got me back on track. Extremely accessible for all.

Fantastic reading! Devin Hunter really impresses. I can feel the energy from his writing. Just working the process in the first few chapters I'm experiencing significant progress in my own power and my connection to the universe. I highly recommend this book. In love & light.

For so many years I have been dabbling in magick, sticking my toes in many different styles and reading books on various traditions. But I have never committed myself to any real practice or tradition because i just didn't seem to know where I belonged. And because of this, my magickal growth has been stymied.But after reading this book, and doing the work in the middle section of charting where my abilities and talents lie according to my birth chart, i now have a clear picture of what kinds of magicks are natural for me, and what I should be specializing in. And I even have a better understanding of what areas I am weak in and what I need to do to strengthen these weaknesses.This book will be a great boon to anyone just starting out, or to anyone who doesn't have a clear picture of what their magical nature is. Read everything that Hunter writes. Simple to understand and useful informations, I recommend the 3 books of this series.
