Product was shipped promptly to Hawaii. Minus 1 star since the Key ring and white strap is not included anymore (per the manufacturer). But the packaging still has the imprint of where the items should be (looks awkward). Otherwise really enjoy the GPS unit and would order another one again.

**Q: Does it turn on when the 12v power turns on and turn off if the bt disconnects and the power is removed.i don't want to have to manually switch it off**
A: No, when plugged in, it will charge the battery.  You must push the button to turn on.  If the bluetooth disconnects, it will continue self logging if it is set to do that in the programming.  You will need to configure it in the set up phase.

I've had this gps recorder for more then two years now, and am very happy. It works well with the supplied software (however make sure you write down the license key someplace safe in case you lose the cd cover. they will replace the key only once), and so far has worked flawlessly with generic gps applications such as gps based computer clocks. Long battery life and appears to be very stable and accurate. I like it still.
