What’s to dislike? Funny and informative.

I was told for years that I should not take standard British exams as it would ruin my German. I did take the British exams but I knew I was using structures that isn’t used in everyday life by native Germans. I passed as a native speaker and worked as a senior bilingual PA/translator for years for international companies until I gave up work. This is the first time I have read a book that uses the German that I was used to speaking, it has been like a breathe of fresh air. I have just ordered more books. Vielen, vielen Dank Angelika

Escuto podcasts e não entendia muita coisa, com o livro consulto as expressões quando preciso e comecei a entender mais.Para leitura continua não fez sentido, mas para consultar quando você quer aprender algo novo é muito bom, e como são pequenas histórias de 1 parágrafo, você entende o significado e são engraçadas.Tradução para o inglês apenas da expressão, mas os textos são fáceis pra quem está no B1 acima.

Well written. Comprehensive. Lots of usage examples. Great addition to my German learning library. A wonderful tool at a great price.

I have bought this book and then bought next five, written by the author. I like the style, learning material, the way the book is written. Easy, interesting, informative, at a good price. I am happy to learn German with this book. Highly recommend!
