These really are for decorative purposes than for hangers. I would recommend buying them as baby shower decor instead. The hooks are not big enough for a standard wooden closet rod. They are more suited for a skinny/thin metal rod. When I received them, they were packaged in a brown envelope with twine and a wooden heart. It was super cute! These hangers are carved out of a thin yet sturdy wood and has a cute blue bow tie at the top. There are "hooks" inside the hanger to make hanging some garments easier. I did find that the hanger itself didn't fit on my wooden dowel in my closet. It may fit a smaller dowel or best be used with a hook.
