Improvement over stock
I installed these along with the stop-tech braided stainless lines on my 2013 fj cruiser. I also replaced the brake fluid with Motul DOT4 Racing fluid. The improvement is awesome! I feel much-improved stopping power, especially when really on it. This setup will fairly easily lock up a set of 33" Nitto's. And I feel a lot less brake fade. Overall very happy and would recommend. Yes they are expensive but they are very good pads. And very quiet.

Better than Toyota Pads
Bought these for my 4runner TRD Pro, noticeable improvement over OEM as I've added a lot of weight + larger tires. Only downside is the price.

The BEST truck pad!
The Hawk LTS pads are the best brake pad you can get for your truck/suv if you tow. These pads are more heat resistant than most and offer low dust and long life. They are a great pad in my opinion. I have extensive experience with brakes, driven and instructed high performance driving clinics, etc. All that said, I am very pleased with the characteristics and performance of these pads.

super stopping power
I bought Hawk brake pads for my 2002 Audi a few years back ...my car stopped on a .dime....So I needed brakes for my Lexus gx 470... I changed the pads that were originally on the Lexus they were low ..but even both front and rear....I just replaced the pads..quiet and clean..super stopping power..no worries..

Not Impressed
I installed these pads on a 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser, along with matching front pads. The same time the pads were installed, new calipers x4, rotors x4, soft lines, LSPV, and a master cylinder were replaced. I also flushed the brake lines to get rid of the old fluid. During the break-in cycles, I was not surprised to experience some excessive pedal travel and fade. However, even after the break-in period, these pads still don't "bite' until they are hot. Once hot, they will out perform most other brake pads that I've tried, but until they get hot enough, they don't provide much confidence. I will probably go back to using OEM pads. I may also consider using the Adaptive One pads from NAPA. I frequently install the NAPA pads at my shop as an upgrade to OEM, and my customers can usually notice the difference.
