Ethical Pet Handi-Drink 9-Ounce Mini Pet Waterer

I had an earlier model of this dog water bottle. It took me a little while to break it in, but I loved it. The replacement for my lost bottle is stiff and the top leaks.

This is my second purchase of this product. They need to improve the socket which holds the bottle. I attach the product to my shoulder bag while walking my dog. The bottle pops out of the socket too often. I have lost two bottles on my walks in the past 2 weeks. I had my second purchase for one day and the bottle popped out on our walk. I didn't notice it until I got home, needles to say, I couldn't find the bottle after retracing my walk. Love the product, design needs improvement , even with the "little brace" at the base of the holder

I WENT ON AMAZON TO GET SOME OF THESE. I have used them for many many years threw MANY DOGS, I read some of the reviews just for the heck of it and was surprised to read about all the leaking problems. I don't know what they are doing with them. I mean I would not put it in my purse upside down or even on its side. But it's not meant to do that. Yes it will leak a few drops because the top is made with like a plus sign slit in the rubber top part, that's so you can squeeze the water threw the top straight into the tray if you want, with that said it is not totally sealed,like if it had a screw on cap on it, but it does not pour out. Just my opinion and experience if you you this with the strap on it over your shoulder ( also the bottle stays in its tray holder by the bottom piece that pulls up and holds the bottle secure) and take it with you on dog walks or sit it in your car cup holder and go for rides in the car, and when you need to give your dog or cat water just unscrew the top like you would your own water bottle to drink. And pour some water in the tray for them. SIMPLE...BETTER THAN CARRYING A BOWL AND BOTTLE.

I purchase this for my puppy while I took him to the beach I could have his own water. the carry case attached works great, I don't put the water in the case (bowl) as shown in the picture. The bottle is like a baby bottle with a pitch opening at the end that when you press down the water comes out slowly. Too slow, that my puppy can't wait that long. You really got to press down hard in squeeze. I just open the bottle and pour the water in the bowl. Its much faster and easier. so there was a disadvantage at that, and since it has a pitch opening at the end, if you carry it in a back pack or a doggie pack pack like i do , it tends to leak out. so I just put in on one size of my doggies back pack and don't put anything else in there just in case it leaks. That was the only default but it doesn't brother me so much that I only use it when I go hiking with him.

This is the second one I've ordered for my tiny dogs. The top is 2-pieces - the hard plastic screw ring, and the rubber squirt nipple that is held in by the plastic ring (like a baby bottle). I bought one over a year ago and the rubber base on the squirt nipple split and caused it to leak. I used it regularly though, and it is cheap enough to replace. LOVE the spooning design of the bottle/bowl and it tucks into the dog carrier pocket easily. Comes with both a clip and a colored coded rope lanyard which you can hang around your neck but may be uncomfortably heavy when filled with water. I don't use the clip or string much, but it's nice to have those options. Will buy it again if this one breaks at any point.

This is the second one of these I've had now. The first one lasted about 2 years, then for some reason started leaking out of the cap when inverted on a hike. Maybe water froze in it and expanded it over the winter. All in all, however, I liked it enough to order another. My dog has strong opinions about what she'll drink water out of. She does not like the fold-up, packable nylon bowls. She likes this trough a lot. I usually just pour the water into it, rather than using the spray lid. The spray is a nice fine mist if your dog likes being misted. Mine has an opinion about that, too! This is actually a convenient way to carry her water as long as I wear pants with a belt to hang it from. I wish there were an equally brilliant design to take when we go running though. It also works well for us in the car when we run errands.

I love this product! I purchased one almost a year ago and used it all the time! My dog is all black and gets thirsty and hot very easily in the summer! So I would take this with us on long walks or trips to the park. The bottle is fully detachable and when pressure is applied to the bottle water flows out the nossel into the dish. I found this to be really convienent because I could supply water as she was drinking and didn't up wasting water when away from the house. I also like how the bar at the bottom clicks into place to hold the bottle in place when not in use. It's easy to clean and all around a great buy! I am about to purchase another (we lost her last one in the park and hope it found a happy home) and I hope it is as great as the first one!

Pros: water on the go. It sucks up all the water dogs don't drink.Cons: the set up is a little awkward. Instructions that come with it make it look like you can leave it sitting and water will come out to fill the container. But you have to squeeze constantly to get water out and you have to hold it so it doesn't tip. And the capacity is good for just one medium/large dog really if you're going on a hike. And there are slots in the silicone on the top of the bottle. No water had leaked yet, but I feel like I always have to watch it.I still use this because it sucks back unused water and the little trough is useful. I do bring backup water if there will be more than one dog and I tend to just squeeze water into the trough from above vs. clicking it in like the instructions say.

Excellent product. Bigger than most of its competitors. Much used by us over the Summer.

I've have used these handi-drink dog bottles for several years. I only recently purchased replacements because the plastic had become brittle on the old ones. They are easy to carry giving the option of either clipping the container to your belt or around your shoulder using the the cord supplied. The bottle fits firmly into the trough and is additionally secured by the catch. My spaniels like to both catch the flow of water directly from the bottle and from the trough. I hope the new ones last as long.

These are perfect for small dogs. I have 2 very active chihuahuas. I take them for a walk for roughly an hour and this is really useful and very handy for when they get thirsty halfway our walk. And worth noting, I also once got a compliment for this. Overall i like the design but the only problem i have is that i have to use the string that comes with it and wrap it around my hand to carry with me while i walk. I think the plastic hooks should be replaced with one of those metal hanging clips or anything really that iwill allow me to clip it securely with the dog leash.

Der Vorteil dieser Flasche ist, dass man die zwei Teile ohne Probleme trennen kann. So muss man nicht immer zwei Pinne in Halterungen durchfummeln. Besser zum Reinigen und besser für den Hund. Man kann die Wasserschale auch ohne die Flasche hinstellen. Schade nur, das es diese Kombination kaum noch zu kaufen gibt. Wir benutzen sie schon seit Jahren. Einzig der Flaschenverschluss ist nicht gelungen. Wir dichten ihn immer mit Sekundenkleber ab.
