Medically Approved Scrotal Support/Athletic Supporter Jockstrap For Hernia, Hydrocele, Post Surgery & Sports

Accurate size guide. Firmly supportive. I am recovering from a deeply unpleasant bout of epididymitis with one testicle the size of a grape and the other the size of an orange. Full urinary catheterisation while antierotics(!) work, thus I had maximum discomfort while catheterised. Now that is removed, I still need support for the orange for the next few weeks. Immediate pain relief! No swinging, no dangling, no strain on the suspension tissue. I can sit down without pre-planning! Great support, and in the right place - slightly raised, front and centre. I need to wear this night and day, and I forget I'm wearing it I bought two, one to launder, one to wear. I set the reviews on stitching quality aside. I can resew if needs be, but the seams all appear to be good quality. There is one important point for latex allergic folk, because the washing label states that it contains natural latex (see photo). This does need to be prominent in the product description. I have told the supplier who has acknowledged this and suggested they would edit the description to show it

Ruptured Hydrocele forced me to find ways to support things. And this did a very good job. Waist sizing was good and the pouch covered me at different stages of healing. (Volume went down over time, then went back up) Easily as good as the ones the hospital gave me after surgery. Indeed I kept using these until I eventually recovered. Worn under boxers, I wouldn’t know I was wearing anything unusual. Very comfortable. Buy with confidence, and good luck.

Does the job but a bit uncomfortable

I had surgery 2 days ago and the hospital fitted the L size which was too tight and left sore red welts on either side of the belt. Amazon were a life saver as I ordered 2 XL straps delivered next day and they fit perfectly. Much more comfortable. I have to wear it for 8 weeks so may order more to allow for washing. Great value compared to other similar items. I am happy and comfortable now.

Originally thought 5 Star as they looked identical to the hospital supplied item post op. Despite only hand washing and about 20 wears the stitching at the front of the pouch is failing. I am 34 waist and the medium is a very tight fit. Bought three of these and two are failing. Only needed them for short term use so they have served their purpose.

Customers who like Litesome, now out of production for many years, will love this jockstrap. It has the same construction as many UK manufacturers used, but which became almost unavailable. This jockstrap has a nice wide waistband that will not "roll over", and covered elastic leg straps. In my opinion, this construction is way better than much more expensive ones, with the leg elastic straps sewn to the pouch. I hate that. Pouch material does not contain woven in shearing elastic, like some American brands. Another massive plus.
