Looking for a well built and easy to move adjustable base with great customer support?
Let me start this review by saying I can't recommend this adjustable platform, or Stratiform Beds any higher. I have previously owned two other adjustable bases from another manufacturer. We purchased a second to the top model in the 3000 series of this company, that was $1,800 it was nice, but difficult to move when necessary. We ended up selling it after only a year, as we were moving, and it was too expensive to ship. When we next purchased another unit, it was the same company in the 7000 series, their top model on sale at $2,200. We sold that after owning it for two years, one we used, one in storage, (long story). When it came time to get back into a new place, we knew we couldn't move it again, as it was very difficult and cumbersome. It weighed nearly 200 lbs and didn't easily break down into only two parts. So away it went.We landed in our new place and started looking at adjustable bases again, when we discovered the SILVERlite from Stratiform Beds. We liked the design and the claim that it was easy to assemble and easy to ship. Let me tell you, they aren't lying. It took five people to maneuver our old 7000 king base. I assembled this unit alone, in 20 minutes, with no tools necessary. This bed is more stable, (the 7000 had design flaws that weakened the frame in places) has the highest load capacity. The motors are quiet compared to the other units we've owned.I am so happy we came across this company and this bed. It's not fancy, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but let me tell you...our 3000 series had USB ports (slow charge), and massage, we used occasionally, the 7000 series, had extra motors for neck adjustments as well as lumbar adjustments. It also had Bluetooth speakers, under bed lighting, dual USB ports (again slow charging) a fancy remote and massage. In the year we used it, the massage was turned on 3 times? The lumbar support caused back pain after a full night's use. The neck tilt caused headaches...this wasn't able to be determined in a short test at the store. The Bluetooth speakers were horrible sounding. All the bells and whistles were a waste and an expense waste at that. The SILVERlite platform is more basic, the head and feet raise and lower quite far, there are two presets on the remote that can be customized to your preference. And the base is by far superior in design from anything I've researched. It's also the least expensive unit out there! My only wish, a few more buttons for additional memory or preset settings. I would gladly pay an upcharge and still come in less than the competition. Perfect example, we looked at a basic adjustable from the company we had owned before. Their 2000 series, same number of settings as the SILVERlite, no bells and whistles, the load capacity much lower, motors louder and same cumbersome design to make it awkward to transport. $1,200!We had one small issue with the bed that was technical (not Stratiform Bed's fault). I wrote to the company and heard back quickly from Jon. He worked to help me resolve the issue and went out of his way to apologize and make it right, even though it wasn't their fault.I've owned two of my own businesses and customer service was always at the top of my priorities. In a day and age where customer service is lacking, far too often, Stratiform Beds stands apart. They stand behind their products and they are there for the customer, to ensure they don't suffer buyer's remorse. I cannot recommend Stratiform Beds or their products more highly.I know this was a long review and I hope you made it this far. I can definitely tell you, if you're on the fence, don't be. You won't regret this purchase, especially when it comes time to move, or if you have an upstairs bedroom!

Best bang for the buck!
Easy assembly and easy to get started with programming! We bought two King XL frames, and they fit perfectly within our wood frame. Motors are whisper quiet and work without a hitch. I had contacted support upon arrival and let them know the boxes came extremely damaged. I was concerned because we weren’t going to assemble them immediately. They assured me they would replace any missing or damaged parts. Turns out the packaging inside was top notch and only one of the boxes was missing anything. The AAA batteries and a cotter pin. Nothing a trip to the workshop couldn’t come up with. Not even worth letting them know. Hopefully these bases will last awhile!

Lightning shipping and easy to put together.
Bed comes in two boxes; approx. 5"x 1.5'x 8' and are a bit on the heavy side. Nothing a hand truck can't handle. You can open the boxes and spread out the parts in an open area, as we did and carry the parts into the bedroom one or two at a time. Quick guide was very useful and easy to put together. Everything was hand tightened and plug in's, so no need for tools.Once together, it's a bit tricky to program the remote (read the directions) and cycle the motors for the first time but other than that, it works flawlessly. The construction is much more secure and trustworthy than the pillar base type, IMHO. Electronics seemed par as you need to wait a second or two for a second command per the instructions or you may damage the unit. Up and down cannot complete their movements at the same time but complete them without a hitch.I would recommend highly for those who want a firmer mattress as the box springs will be removed. My springs were shattered from old age and spring cycling. Even a "Jello" mattress like mine became firmer. I believe this bed is imported but the quality was amazing. Going to order a second right now for the guest bedroom.

Motor is a little noisy, but works fine so far, but only owned for a week

Extremely Well Designed and Well Built
I knew when I opened the carton and saw the amazing care that went into packaging that this was going to be a wise purchase. I wasn't wrong. I bought it to replace a more expensive adjustable base that I passed on to someone else for unimportant reasons. There is no comparison - it is the best design, and the best quality anyone could hope for. The installation literally took minutes, without tools, and because of good design, it is foolproof. For example, the four simple wire connections are color-coded, and uniquely keyed to fit only one way, impossible to screw up. After much comparison shopping, I think this company's product is the sturdiest, best-designed adjustable bed out there - a super value for the price.

Budget friendly and really good quality.
It looks light-weight. It isn't. This handles a regular mattress with authority and offers all the support needed. Great if you want to read in bed, or if foot elevation is a good thing for you. Aside from regular raise-lower functions, has one button that flattens everything, and one that raises both head and feet. Lighted control, motion-turn-on for same Ample instructions. Assembly managed with simple tools and no problems.
