Could've been a contender
This clock has such great potential! It's not plastic and feels solid. However, unless you sit on your knees on the floor at your desk, it's hard to see the dial. And heaven forbid you need to change the battery: only instructions available are from other customers ( unscrew the "map" side to insert the battery). Iteration 2.0 would have a swivel or angled face and English language instructions. It's cheap ( in many ways) and a good paperweight.

Lovely Little Clock
This is a well made lovely, little brass clock. As a Titanic buff I love the White Star and Titanic detail. Because of the convex protruding glass covering, this small clock must be placed where light reflection doesn’t interfere with your ability to see the time (also, the convex glass limits the viewing angle). One little problem. The battery died and there doesn’t seem to be a way in to replace it - and it’s not a wind up clock. Note to manufacturer: what do you suggest I do? Since the symbolism of this brass nautical clock represents the Titanic - I have set the clock hands to permanently read the time of when the Titanic sank - @2:20 a.m. Also - wouldn’t it be nice if the backside was a real compass??? 😊

Cute, but not instructions
I like the look of this clock but it came with no instructions on how to change the battery. After a couple of hours I realized I needed to unscrew the bottom to get it apart. Hopefully these pictures help someone else before they have to deal with this headache. The funny thing is in just received his yesterday with a dead battery. Too much hassle for something new.
