Exceeded my expectations.
These have been great work boots that checked all the boxes I was looking for. My criteria: 1. Tough and reasonably waterproof. No complaints so far and they seem to be holding up. 2. Comfortable. No complaints here either even on long days. 3. Easy to get on and off quickly. At my job I switch between working outside in the mud and having to come inside people's nice homes. It may not matter to some but it's a must for me to kick them on and off effortlessly throughout the day and this design is great for that. 4. Priced reasonably. No matter how nice or how dumpy a pair of boots I get, I don't reasonably expect a lifespan of more than a couple years doing what I do. Preferably not less either. Not a lifetime investment though either way, and these are priced well in accordance. 5. Look cool. I hate having boots that are loaded down with all kinds of plastic, nylon, reflectors, etc. It looks cheap and silly and they honestly seem to wear apart faster having all those weird cracks and crevices for dirt and debris to work into. These are classic real leather and rubber. Zero complaints about the appearance, and they can be dusted off and dressed up with very little effort. All in all they're a big win for me, I will undoubtedly get them again.

Durable, Comfortable, and a Blue-Collar Favorite
These Georgia Giant Waterproof High Romeo Boots were specifically requested by my blue-collar husband for work, and they’ve become his go-to boots—he keeps coming back to them. They’re made of high-quality, durable material that really holds up over time, and they’re surprisingly comfortable once broken in. He also appreciates that they’re waterproof, offer good ankle support, and have excellent traction for slippery or rugged surfaces. Long-lasting, reliable, and built for hard work—these boots really deliver!

Great pair of boots and would have received 5 stars ...
Great pair of boots and would have received 5 stars except for one problem: these boots are HARD to pull on (and take off, of course). I own other boots of this design that are easy to put on (and were that way from the very first time; besides, you should never need to "break-in" the fundamental process of getting your shoes on!) The problem is not easy to see - if you look at the product pictures you see how far down the side the elastic goes; it appears like there would be plenty of stretch. However, if you look INSIDE the boot you can see where a fabric panel has been sewn roughly half way up the elastic panel, thus literally reducing the stretch by half! I assume the panel was designed to help keep water from entering via the elastic material. Frankly, the struggle and difficulty of pulling and prodding the boots on makes me wish they had left off the panel and let the full measure of elastic do it's job. Actually, maybe I should have rated them 3 stars. Details: I wear size 9, ordered 9 and the fit is fine with good toe room. I have a slightly high arch, but not so bad that I have problems with fit. Once I get these boots on (arrgh!) I enjoy wearing them.

Takes a while to break but after it’s like they’re made for you
I bought these for my husband as they stated waterproof but with many brands that say this they aren’t actually water proof or they break down super easy. The money is worth the quality, it really does take a few days to break in but my husband LOVES these shoes. He is a meat cutter and depends on durability, waterproof and is on his feet all day so comfort is a must. He hasn’t asked to buy my Dr scholls insterts which is nice. Don’t worry about walking like a newborn calf the first couple days it’s normal!

Quality, fit, finish, style, and price excellent
I measured my feet with an official Bannock device it said I wear 10.5 (US). That is what I ordered and they fit pretty darn good, even better with a thicker sock. My pair of Georgia Boats arrived brand new in a Georgia Boot shoe box. To me the color is a dark cordovan which I like. If that be soggy brown then I will take it. I bought this style for looks as my heavy work days are retirement history, I don't need the rubber band around the sole, and because my shoedrobe is mainly light summer slip-on canvass loafers. I also do not buy stuff with labels as I am not being paid to do so. These are really comfortable out of the box and appear well made. I am happy with them...so far.

Best boot I've ever worn, Hands Down.
Georgia Boot has outdone themselves. I wore a pair of Danner's for years, and I remember feeling this same way about them! However this time around I wanted something new, but without sacrificing what I thought were the best boots I had ever owned. So I got another pair of Danner's to compare to other boots, and as soon as I slipped on a pair of these Romeo's I knew immediately that these were the ones. SIZE REFERENCE: These boots are TRUE TO SIZE. I've always had a discrepancy between sizes on different boots and shoes, I am shoe size10.5 Wide, however all of my Nike's, other shoes, and Timberland's I fit a size 11. When I ordered these I got an 11 Wide and 10.5 Wide, the 10.5W fits like a glove, with perfect Arch Support (for me), the Toe Box (none of my toes rub or chafe) is just right, and the soles of these boots are like pillows on my feet, and the Width on my size 10.5W is perfect. I am glad I let my Wife talk me into getting the Wide lol, without her I'd literally be less of a man (and my feet would hurt). Be sure to look for coupons before you purchase these (or any other), I found one and it saved me 24% ($20.86) at checkout. At that price I should've ordered two pair!

Definitely buy a size smaller than usual. Very comfortable! Squeaks though
These boots are so comfortable that it's hard to believe that these boots are workboots. They're more comfortable than my sneakers, with the added bonus of being waterproof and heavy duty construction. The heel is cradled very nicely and the rest of the footbed offers excellent cushioning. Even after being on my feet for 10 hours a day, my feet don't feel any worse in these boots than when I wear my New Balance sneakers. As other reviewers have noted, the boots tend to run large. I have slightly wide feet and wear 10 to 10.5 size shoes depending on the manufacturer. My go-to sneakers are size 10.5 New Balance due to their slightly wider and roomier construction in their midfoot. I ordered a size 10 wide in these boots since I find most shoes and boots to be just a bit too narrow for my feet. While the width was a perfect fit, the boot was just a tad too long and made me "clomp" around when walking. I returned them for a 9.5 wide and the fit is spot on. I didn't find any trouble getting my feet into the boots. From reading some of these reviews, I was a bit worried about getting these on my feet, especially given that I've ordered the shoes at a smaller size than what I normally wear. At first the opening seemed really tight and small, but once I got my toes in, it really wasn't all that difficult to put on these boots. The loops on both the tongue and the heel of the boot really help, and my feet slid in easily with a bit of pressure. As expected, without laces, the fit around the ankle is a bit loose, but the boots stay on pretty well. It also takes a bit of pressure to actually take the boot off, so there's no worries about the boots flying off my feet as I'm running or walking. The looseness around the ankle is a bit of a drawback, but worth the ease of putting these boots on and off my feet without having to deal with laces. The waterproofing works well. The leather does take on stains, but not a big deal if you're wearing these for work like I am. The boots break in quickly, and within a couple hours of wearing them for the first time, they felt like a pair of old boots I've had for years. The only complaint I have is that the soles of the boots squeak terribly on linoleum floors. Try them out. Just remember to size down a bit.

Quality for the price.
It's been 2 weeks and this is my go to boots for long work day. Almost no break in period, comfortable, nice cushy sole, and the gorgeous dark brown full grain leather are the pluses. The only gripe is the noticeable squeaky noise when walking on marble floors, not a deal breaker considering the quality for this price.

Fantastic Pair of Everyday Boots
These boots are durable enough for work and fashionable for everyday use. They are real Goodyear welts and genuine leather so they can be cobbled which is difficult to get for the price. Because they are genuine leather, it is imperative that potential buyers be aware that a break in period is required for them to mold to your feet. So the most important part is ensuring the size matches to your actual feet size since you can't change the size of a sole. They will be tight to fit first and this is good because you don't want your slip-ons to be loose from the get-go since this is sign that it will get uncomfortable once broken in. It took me about a week to break them in starting at a couple hours per day around the house until I could wear them more and more. Now I can wear them for 9 hours a day walking/hiking without a fatigue. There is a plastic type waterproof coating on top so if you use these for work, you're probably going to scratch it off in now time revealing the real colour of the leather underneath which may look ugly. No fear, grab some mink oil and rub that on and it will go back to similar patina. These are probably the best "real" boots you can buy for the price.

Great quality
I ordered these as I needed new Chelsea boots for chores and work. I am hard on boots and have all kinds. The ones from Australia lasted a decade and fell apart but I can't bring myself to spend +$200 on boots that I will be walking through mud with. Saw these and the price was right...what a great choice!! They are comfortable and the construction is strong. I wear them as a fall/winter boot (they are not rated for warmth) and they are holding up exceptionally. I will be buying again!

like it
Like the shoe very much unfortunately, the size i bought doesn't fit me although my shoe size is 9". I bought 9W where it has too many rooms at back of heel.
