Yep. We had the same problem. Unfortunately this just isn't a good product. We had to return the item and experienced a lot of issues when trying to do so.

no, it's a deep crimson red. definitely not magenta.

My ywo bags just arrived in a small box. Is the stuffing included?

Yes. You need to take the plastic off and let the filling expand even roll it around and fluff it up. It takes several days to fully expand. Mine started out in about a 2 foot square box. It is now over 3 feet in diameter. Once the plastic is off it expands a lot!
