Terrific kitchen knives
I bought my first of of these knive in Singapore about 25 years ago. Probably longer. I’m only replacing it because I have mislaid it and despite many other high quality knives I miss this one. The blade is somewhat flexible but takes stewing on a steel very easily. I mainly use it for vegetables because I prefer something more substantial. But I can’t be without my traditional knife.

Takes a good edge and brilliant value
I'm really surprised how good these are for the price. I can get a great edge on them and they're light and flexible enough for pretty well any kitchen task. With one of the pair I bought, the colouring in the wooden handle kept leaking as a yellow stain when wet, but eventually it stopped and there was no permanent mark left on anything, so I'm more than happy with them. The performance is as good as some knives I've bought for five times the price. You can't go wrong with them.

My go-to everyday knife
I have a whole drawer of chef’s knives, but these kiwi knives are the ones I turn to for everyday kitchen tasks. They are lightweight, super sharp, and make quick work of everything from chopping onions and tomatoes to slicing cheese or mincing garlic. They are really easy to sharpen and cheap enough that I keep several around and toss them out when they start to get too old. The only (very slight) downside is that they’re so lightweight that they aren’t great for cutting thicker meats or dense vegetables like squash. Otherwise, they are close to perfect.

Better than knives 10x the price!
Spectacular knives, for a spectacular price. They're light and a reasonable size, with a thin blade that makes prep work a breeze. The handles have some rough edges and I'm not a fan of the finish, but some light sanding took care of that. And for 6 bucks a knife? It costs as much to buy new ones as to have them professionally sharpened - not that they're likely to need a full sharpening any time soon, as they hold a good edge and take well to honing. These aren't for heavy work, and they're notnl fillet knives, but they are excellent all-rounders, especially in a small prep space.

Super Messer
