R&T A1350 Quiet Toilet Fill Valve Toilet Universal Tank Parts Replacement, Fast Stop Toilet Leaks and Noisy, Height Adjustable, Easy to Install No Plumber Required

I have installed 3 of these in my home in the last few months, and am.wsntimg to do.the rest. They are so much quieter when filling and do not bang when they shut off, which typically is amifoef by copper plumbing. Easy to install, adjustable height (though difficult to turn the knob), and once adjusted to.height, work nearly silently without issue. None of them have leaked at all, and have been very dependable so far. Again, I plan to do the rest, so they are all as quiet as the 3 I have done.

A great replacement for the standard Fluidmaster toilet replacement that you see in the hardware store. The problem with many units is that even at the maximum level setting, there isn’t enough water in the tank to clear the bowl. This doesn’t save water if you have to flush two or three times. Some alternative units are too high to fit in the tank. This R&T unit, on the other hand, is adjustable. An extra inch of water in the filled tank makes all the difference. It is easy to install, except that it takes a pair of pliers to loosen up the level adjustment knob—do this prior to installation. It’s quiet, and refills the tank quickly. The most time consuming part of the process was plowing through all the irrelevant units returned on the Amazon search engine to find this perfect solution for my problem.

Being a single woman, tackling anything like plumbing or repair can be a challenge. This was super easy except for the washer/nut combo holding the valve in place. Took several tries but I finally got it right-AND NO LEAKS!! Thanks for saving me a few bucks by not having to pay someone to fix this. Girls, you got this 😁

Easy to install and it works great. It's like a new toilet again.

The longest part to putting these in was getting the water out of the tank. The securing nut is exceptional -- it slides up and then when it hits tank, the threads start to engage, so it only takes a few turns to seat -- unlike the one that I took off, I had to unscrew all the off the end of the valve. I recommend that you turn the height adjustment before it is installed. It is pretty stiff when I got it and it needed to be turned so that is would get ready to be used. After turning it along its length a few times, it was then easy to adjust. Before doing it before installation it would have been hard to adjust it without making it turn in the toilet tank. The water flows into the tank at the bottom of the post and does not mark much noise at all -- with a fan on, it would be hard to hear when it was done.

3 star because of tiny letter cheap paper…+ the outer spring loaded nut is trash….the nut is wider than original so righting the water inlet won’t work….save your original sealing nut on tank! Performance is Unkown so far but working well now…..

Very easy to install, no adjustments needed, and straight forward installation. I will replace all my fill valve's with this one.

This is the best one to buy I've installed it about 30 times doing handyman work never fails some of them in this park have I installed it over 10 years ago i put in a Corky the last time it lasted exactly one year not too happy about that so I would stick with this one the fluidmasters 400 it's the best one to buy
