I use 3 of these to light up an outdoor workbench area in my backyard nursery. Bright, but not blindingly intense. I use these for up to 8 hrs continuously in outdoor temps up to 85F and I've not had any overheating problems like others have reported. The cases do get warm, but not hot.

I bought this light as a permanent outdoor floodlight to illuminate the back yard at night (controlled by a dusk to dawn timer). I've only had it for one day and it works great. It should last for four years, according to the packaging. Let's see how well it holds up to snow and rain; meanwhile I'm delighted with everything about it.

Failed after 25 months, so 1 month out of warranty. I received a replacement. Now that same one has failed again. It just blinks constantly. Seller says its out of warranty because they're referencing the original purchase date...not the date the replacement was sent. Either way no big deal. I wouldn't install the replacement. i don't plan to climb up on a ladder to replace these lights every year.

Lot of brightness for our little patio, we were thinking of getting the 20w but this one is the perfect one. Worth the $

The brightness of the SMD lights are outstanding. The mounting bracket had to be removed for easier mounting. Although the mounting bracket does swivel up and down, it limits the angling of the unit in any direction unless the center hole for mounting is used (not as secure as the 2 horizontal mounts in my opinion). And for this reason I gave it a 4 star rating. Other than that the product is amazing and I would purchase it again had I needed more units.

The cord is only like 6" long, so if you don't put it right next to a junction box it's all but worthless, very limited uses IMO. You could use some of the garden junction boxes and add your own length of wire, but at the same time that adds another 20 to the light. THe lights are sealed with silicone so you can't take it apart and solder on your own wire either. I returned them as I wanted to place these as down lights from under my eves but I dont' want to run conduit and junction boxes out the eves.

Power cord short

I mounted this on the side of my garage and it lights up that entire half of the yard. Great buy!

So far in 4 months 2 of the 5 installed lights have stoped working. Need to replace. Not impressed.

The equivalent 30W outdoor floodlights were amazingly effective in highlighting or "Golden Locust" in our front driveway. So far very pleased with this product. Only hope they last as long as they claim.

Like the tough metal outer casing. Looks well built I would buy it again.
