"Just right" Coverage - This is a winner!
This product is WONDERFUL! I’ve been searching forever for a foundation-type product and have accumulated too much makeup because I keep learning of something new/different that looks/sounds promising only to be utterly disappointed with how it looks on me. My bare face is sickly pale and washed out, but every foundation-type product I’ve tried ends up looking cakey and/or artificial on me, and as I’m getting older (now in my 40s), I’m having trouble with makeup leaving me looking dried out. NOT the case with this Loreal Tinted Serum! This is EXACTLY what I’ve been wanting for so long. This tint offers just the right amount of coverage, (just slightly more than sheer), to give my face a polished, healthy glow while still being sheer enough and close enough to my coloring to look natural (a no-makeup makeup look). Maybe it’s the hyaluronic acid, but it seems quite moisturizing (it really feels more like I’m applying skincare rather than makeup but it obviously is both – such a win-win!). I generally apply a light moisturizer first, but I’m not sure I’d have to - it depends how dry your skin is. It wears beautifully for at least 10-12 hours, looking to me basically the same as when I first applied it without creasing or looking cakey. It doesn’t settle into (emphasize) my fine lines, but rather has a slight softening/blurring effect. Also, it’s super easy, quick and fail-proof to apply – huge wins for my busy life. In 2 minutes, I can apply this and some lipstick and feel fully confident no matter where my day takes me. Or when I have time for a full face of makeup, it’s the perfect foundation. Having only been using it a few weeks, I can’t say for sure how long a bottle lasts, but it seems to go a long way – a few drops on each section of my face is aplenty. I can’t say enough good about this – I’m in love! Only two cautionary notes I’d offer – 1) it IS relatively thin coverage, so it doesn’t conceal dark spots or blemishes completely – if I have a noticeable acne blemish or something, I still need some concealer to fully cover it. 2) Other reviewers mentioned it being messy, and I can see that’s a possible drawback because it’s liquidy and the way the screw lid/dispenser works, it can easily get all over the bottle, etc if you’re not careful – I just make sure to draw the dispenser out & put it back in very slowly as to not smudge it all over the bottle rim. Conclusion: Unless you want or need a heavier/thicker foundation, I can’t imagine anyone not being as thrilled with this tinted serum as I am, especially for non-youthful skin that tends dryer with fine lines.

My review
When I received this product, I thought I had gotten a shade too dark. But it was sheer and fit my face very well. It was hydrating and it felt very light and non-greasy. For its price its worth the money spent. When I paired it with other brands of makeup it held up. Fabulous product. 👌

10 STARS IF I COULD
I’ve repurchased this tinted hyaluronic acid several times now, and it has become my absolute go-to. I hate, hate, hate traditional foundations (they always feel heavy and unbreathable), but I LOVE this product. Shade & Skin Tone: I use Rosie Light, and it is perfect for fair skin with red undertones or naturally rosy cheeks. It evens everything out without masking your natural complexion. After the first layer dries, I sometimes add a literal drop (just one drop, seriously) and pat it onto my cheeks for more coverage because my irish cheeks stay rosie all year. I also tried a shade darker, and it was excellent for summer - still lightweight and natural, just a bit more warmth for sunny months. Texture & Feel: This formula is incredibly lightweight and moisturizing. It feels breathable, never heavy, and it absolutely does not clog pores. There’s no smell, which I appreciate since fragrances often irritate my skin. It layers very well over CeraVe moisturizing tinted sunscreen. Still breathable and light! Performance: The coverage is soft, sheer, and glowy, but still manages to smooth out your skin tone beautifully. It layers amazingly well, as mentiined above, especially over the CeraVe Ultra Lightweight Moisturizer - truly a perfect combo. Pro Tip: Apply this tinted hyaluronic acid before your moisturizer completely dries. When the skin is still slightly damp and hydrated, the product glides on like butter and gives the smoothest, easiest blend you could imagine. It spreads effortlessly on hydrated skin, and the applicator dropper works really well to control how much you're using. Final Thoughts: This has become my everyday complexion product. Lightweight, breathable, moisturizing, easy to blend, no scent, and gorgeous natural coverage. If I could give it 10 stars, I absolutely would. If you hate heavy foundations but need to even out your skin tone or want a smooth but natural or makeup-free looking finish, then this is the product you've been looking for. Great value, great product.

A long-winded review: AMAZING foundation, but my shade 3-4 bottle looked a bit odd.
I have used this foundation for about a year now, and I absolutely love it. (For context, I have dry and somewhat sensitive skin). There is no scent which I love. It is a light coverage, but can be built up to a light to medium coverage. It has a satin finish on my dry skin, and it wears fairly well throughout the day. Setting with a pressed powder is a must for me as I want it to last throughout the work day. I do wish the wear was a bit longer, but given the formula and its purpose, the wear is pretty impressive. It really does look like your skin but better. It has been great on those days I want to go more natural and get that no makeup makeup effect. Creams and powders also lay absolutely beautifully on top of it which is a huge bonus. Now, one of the main reasons why I am writing this review is for the shades. I usually wear light 2-3, but I wanted to give the light medium 3-4 a try. The 3-4 shade came with some red dots in it. I am guessing it is just the pigment not being fully mixed in, but I wasn't very comfortable putting it on my face. For those of you debating between the light and light-medium shades, I have provided pictures of swatches and my skintone, and this is what I recommend: Light 2-3 for a light to medium skintone with WARM undertones, and light medium 3-4 for a light to medium skintone with NEUTRAL undertones. It is easier for me to use the light 2-3 shade, but I definitely could mix in a bit of the 3-4 shade to get a spot on match. Overall, I highly recommend this foundation, especially if you have dry and sensitive skin and want a more natural look. If you are going to get the light medium 3-4 shade, just look out for those red dots. If you get a bottle with these, definitely request a refund and get it somewhere else, or request a reshipment. I hope this review helped! 🩷

Second skin!!
I was not so sure about it at first, but let me tell you. As soon as I applied it, I loved it, the coverage is buildable, so you wont have a problem when using it, it does not crack up, that was my problem with most foundations. I leaves my skin feeling and visible hydrated and like wearing a filter, it looks smooth. The color matched my skin tone perfectly and that was the biggest plus for me because I always have an issue finding one that is not too light or too dark for me, since I'm in between, I usually could wear a light tone, but in summer I could use a warmer one. It is worth every penny, and the size I feel is perfect, because you don't need that much for it to work.

Nice lightweight tinted serum that makes skin look great!
I'm in my 60's and as such, do not wear heavy foundation because of all the fissures on my face( we are past calling wrinkles fine lines, folks). Dry skin, and in the desert, even drier skin. This product is very sheer and buildable, gives a nice finish that looks natural. No scent, kind of limited shade range for me as am super pale olive base. I got the lightest shade, which has a cool hue, and it's a little too pink for my liking, so just ordered the light 2-3 (which is warm) to mix the two. I usually have to customize. In the photo, wearing the true Match 0.5-2, some blush, and lipgloss; that's it. Two different lighting set ups: outdoor and indoor facing north light window.. Very nice product, except no sunscreen, so I have that on under the serum as well. If your sunscreen is zinc based and leaves a whitish hue, you might choose a little darker on the serum to counteract that. My facial SPF is pretty clear. Only negative is the stopper; you must place it carefully back in the bottle so as not to overflow and make a mess. I just swipe some off the glass stopper without removing it entirely from the bottle, to avoid that situation.

Does Not Perform As You'd Expect
To preface: I have combination skin (oily t-zone, but dry elsewhere), acne prone, and I am very, very, pale. Dare I say, pasty. I was excited to by this because of all the good reviews that advertise how hydrating it is and the buildable coverage- I was happy about both those things because 1) I'm young and I like full coverage for redness and long days 2) I LOVE skincare. It is never too early for preventative measures. That being said, this did not perform as I expected it to. First off, the shades are all off. I'd recommend ordering a shade lighter than you typically do if you want a perfect match. It's not the biggest deal if it doesn't match, as the formula ensures a seamless blend regardless. But, I found that the shade I needed was lighter than I typically go for- keep that in mind. Also, as other reviewers mentioned, it is sooooo liquidy. An absolute mess to work with. Second, I expected this to be a sheer light coverage, but it actually performs more like a medium to high, especially if you set with a powder like I do. That was a little unexpected for me as I usually prefer sheer to light coverage just for the sake of letting my skin aerate. Even so, this formula is very light feeling and breathable, and it feels like satin on the skin. Cons, however: I found this to be wildly drying? I'm not sure what the deal with that it. I feel like it dries out my skin like crazy and makes all my other products perform a lot worse, which is an absolute pain. I also had a huge breakout as soon as I started using this, but maybe that's just a purging period. I'm going to give it time. All things considered, I'd recommend as much as any foundation. It's fine. It performs okay, but definitely doesn't work for the skin as much as you'd like it to, and certainly not the way they advertise it to.

It looks natural
It takes just a wee bit to cover your face. It stays on most all day (it may depend on your primer) and it's hydrating but not greasy. I used to use their balm but I don't think they make it anymore. This is a good substitute.

Feels like skin
One of the best tinted serum I have used. It is light to medium coverage and a bit runny but feels like skin once set. Totally recommend!
