Two reviews stated it’s not cork but foam grips. Is that true?

Mine are foam made to look like cork. And it makes my hands uncomfortably hot when using them. I bought the shorter poles (I’m petite), so not so sure about the other answer that says the shorter poles have cork. If you order these, expect foam handles. FYI, the poles seem sturdy, but the tips fell off within the first 10 minutes. I’d honestly recommend looking elsewhere for better quality poles.

Why would the middle part and upper part not hold in place and would just dangle even after following the youtube instruction?.

Cannot understand why that would happen unless you are not pulling the upper section up till the little ball comes out and clicks the rod in place. Sorta like an umbrella.
