I use one end to wash my face and the other to dry it. I can see that it will get softer as time goes on. Right now, it is soft with just enough texture to feel simulating. It does dry quickly. Not instantly.

Color pictured on web site is much lighter, which is what I was expecting. I guess it is sort of a "true" turquoise, just not what I wanted. I was looking at picture and not paying attention to the actual name of the color. Have not used yet but did wash and it does not look as good after first wash. Especially compared to another similar type towel I received as a gift (brand is The Longest Thread) that looks exactly the same after several washings.

My daughter bought several for a 2 month RV camping trip our family just returned from. We all liked our towels. They are soft and large enough to wrap around my body. Very lightweight but absorb well and dry quickly. Machine washed 4 times so far and held up well. You can even use them as a lightweight cover if chilly.

Okay I did not realize HOW absorbent these were. They dry so much better than my fluffy towels did. They’re cute and versatile and LARGE. I can use my bathroom or for a #aesthetic beach day. They also dry out really fast which is nice in my cramped and humid bathroom.The only downside is they don’t feel as cozy when it’s cold out— I live in the gulf coast which has approx two weeks a year where it matters and it only means I have to prepare some warm clothes to pull on quick after drying instead of cozying in the towel.Oh! I also loved the packaging. Recieving the little nazars on a ribbon made me feel warm and protected and have been a great toy for my cats 😂

This towel was a great addition to my vacation! I’m very happy that I purchased this towel. I was able to use it as a cover up by tying the corners and making a skirt or around my chest into a dress. I plan on buyer 3 more for the rest of my family.. Also after washing it, it definitely did get softer

Don't even look at other brands. Cacala is the best. Towels are well made, absorbent, come in different colors and patterns, come in two sizes (hand and bath) - and IMO are perfect. I will be replacing all my old thick towels with these.I did try other brands to see for myself - I am telling you not to bother - these are the ones you want.

This is the first Turkish Pestemal towel that I've purchased and I am very happy with it! The towel is soft, attractive, and takes up much less space than a regular beach towel. It also performs double duty as it works well as a pareo type cover up. While the peshtemal towel is not as absorbent as a fluffy terry towel, but it does work and dries very quickly. Besides, the small footprint in a beach bag and prettiness give it a big plus - recommend!

I gave these as Christmas gifts to all the ladies in my life last year. I fell in love with these towels about a year ago and I use them everyday. I even took them on vacation for my family to use as beach towels because they are so lightweight and easily packable. This brand is my absolute favorite for quality and absorbency. Just buy it, you will love it!

Very beautiful too look at, however, washed it the first time, as directed and the sides have some un-raveling. Hope that is normal.

Well if it’s a decorative towel you want this one looks nice. If you actually need to dry off this is not practical as a towel. It is not very absorbent, the cloth is thin, and my first impression was that it sheds water!
