Goldtouch Bluetooth Comfort Mouse (Right-Handed)

Do not purchase this mouse from 'Value Groupie'! The mouse they sold me was 3yrs old(only backward compatible with todays bluetooth). According to the manufacturer the mouse I was sold was also likely used and defective. Hence all the odd issues I had with the mouse. 'Value Groupie' claims that the mouse is covered by the manufacturer warranty for 1yr. This is false! The manufacturer says they will not cover a warranty on a 3yr old product sold by an unauthorized agent. The manufacturer Goldtouch tried to contact 'Value Groupie' about this issue, but after several weeks still haven't received a response. I have also written to 'Value Groupie' requesting a refund as per the manufacturers suggestion, and have also been without receipt of a reply. So far Amazon has been impossible to contact regarding this issue, they don't make it easy to file complaint/claims against their seller; at least in my current experience. Ultimately I am saying that you should not purchase from 'Value Groupie', they misrepresent their merchandise (its warranties), and choose not to make good with consumers!!! Shame on them and their underhanded practices. I am writing this after waiting a week for a reply from them regarding this situation, and several weeks of waiting without answer by the manufacturer Goldtouch. At this point I can only hope to find a way to contact Amazon, and that they may intervene on my behalf. The mouse itself is a great product, I believe if I had a NEW (1yr or less old model) that I would be in love with it. Don't let me put you off the product, just the seller!This mouse is extremely comfortable to use! The problem I am having shouldn't apply to Windows users; it does however apply to Linux users. The issue with this mouse is that in Linux the time-out for the mouse can't be stopped or adjusted. After the mouse times out, the cursor disappears and is invisible but you can see items highlight when you move over them, just no cursor. Then to add insult to injury re-pairing to get the cursor back doesn't work, as a matter of fact nothing works to get it back short of plugging in another mouse. Yes plugging in another mouse returns the cursor, then the Goldtouch mouse is usable again with the newly visible cursor. This mouse is to expensive to be a part time paper weight.I contacted Goldtouch about the issue with the hope that they might be in the know of some magic way to fix this problem. I made explicitly stated I am using Linux. My reply from them was a pre-written response on how to stop the time-out within Windows. I wrote them again and made certain to make my self clear as to the OS I am using. No response.If you are using Windows I am relativity certain that this mouse will work for you, but If you are using Unix or Linux( like most large corps, the govt, and NASA) you are out of luck.Since my original comment Goldtouch has gotten back in touch with me and were suprisingly helpfull concerning my Linux desktop. Sadly both they and I have come to the same conclusion that it is the Gnome Desktop enviroment with a bug that is causing the poblem; as this problem doesn't exist with other desktops like KDE, Ubuntu Unity, Cinnamon. A bug report has been filed with Gnome and hopefully they will be able to address the issue in a timely manner. Therefore my star rating will go up to a 5 for this mouse.

I'm very happy with my Goldtouch mouse. It is comfortable for my hand and communicates well to my Mac via the Bluetooth connection. Even after a few months, I'm still on the first battery, and I've been using it even more since we started sheltering.Some people complained about the short delay when re-establishing a connection after sitting idle for a while. I notice it and don't find it significant. That's the tradeoff for getting Bluetooth wireless and I'm glad I don't have a cord. Don't even need a dongle on my computer because it supports Bluetooth.

I've been using this mouse for years and really love it. I have medium size hands and the shape fits my hand perfectly. It may be a bit large for small hands. The ergonomics of it make a huge difference for me and helps me avoid the pain issues I get when using a normal mouse. And the fact that it connects via bluetooth mean there's no cord or USB port to worry about. I now have one for home and one for the office.

Although our employees like the shape of this mouse, it has already broken after only 7 months of use.

This does not come with the usb plug in and it would not sync up to my Dell computer by the Bluetooth. It needs to state on it that it is only for Bluetooth devices so that you won't order it if you cannot use it via Bluetooth.
