## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do palm dishes smell and do they affect the taste of food?**
A: We don't use any chemicals to alter the natural properties of the leaves, hence the dishes may have a mild woody scent (the smell of dried palm leaves). However, this does not interfere with the smell or taste of food.

**Q: Why are there colour variations, dark streaks and splotches on the products?**
A: No two leaves are the same, which means no two palm leaf dishes are the same. The colour variations, streaks and splotches are absolutely normal and are due to the natural variations in the leaves.

**Q: Are leaf dishes microwave and oven safe? Are they fridge and freezer safe?**
A: We have used leaf dishes in microwave for 2 minutes at 800W and in the oven for 30 minutes at 180-degree C. They could be used at higher temperatures but please be cautious when doing so. Leaf plates and bowls are fridge and freezer safe.

**Q: Can I clean and reuse palm leaf products?**
A: Palm leaf products are designed for one-time use, however many of our customers have said they have reused them. When used with non-sticky/non-greasy food, the plates and bowls can be wiped clean/washed, dried and reused.

**Q: How can I store unused palm tableware?**
A: All unused products should be stored air-tight, to prevent the leaves from absorbing moisture from air.

We were having a party with a buffet. Normal paper plates are soft and flexible, so don't work well with cutlery, especially if you're holding them in your hand at the time.These palm leaf plates are good and solid, everybody loved them - no spilled food, no problem.The quality is great, and fully biodegradable. Highly recommended.
