Does it heat evenly across the surface of the griddle so pancakes aren't half baked?

In a simple answer - No. We have this griddle and use it very frequently. It heats in a ring around the griddle, which is especially problematic when cooking across the whole surface. Without very frequent turning, there are burned stripes across bacon, burned pieces and uncooked strips. I'm actually looking for a griddle now that will actually heat evenly to replace this one.

Is the non-stick tray removable for cleaning?

What is the surface made of? is it pfoa free?

If you have the 07072 Slimline Griddle, the non-stick surface is made by Whitford. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) continues to regard perfluorocarbon (non-stick) resins as safe for use in contact with food. Non-stick coated cookware is baked at high temperatures, which removes PFOA from the finished product to the extent that migration studies have found no detectable migration of PFOA from non-stick coatings. Will this Grill slide on my granite counter top...Does it have rubberized feet...

Yes, it has rubber pads on the bottom of the feet. I have granite counters and have never had an issue with the griddle sliding. This griddle is awesome!
