Looks/feels well made, the XL bag pairs excellently with the Chuckit travel dog bed!
This XL sleeping bag for dogs is a smart, well designed item and it's a perfect size to pair with the Chuckit! travel dog bed, which fits perfectly inside the "ALPHA PET ZONE Extra Large Dog Sleeping Bag". I slip the Chuckit! travel bed inside the bag, for extra comfort as well as extra insulation against healt loss via the cold ground. The two combined are a perfect cocoon of soft comfy warmness for our doggo Sunny. If you take your pupper camping when the nights get cold, this combo will be the perfect thing to keep them warm all night long. And you can take the Chuckit! bed out of the bag and toss it on the ground around camp as a soft spot to lay when not in the tent. Chuckit! bed that pairs great with this XL sleeping bag: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00027466A?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

So far so good
I was surprised how much my dog loves it! She gets too warm easily and doesn't like being covered, but she curled up in this the second I opened it. It was great on her first camping trip, and very needed! It was in the low 40s/upper 30s, and it definitely helped but I also gave her extra blankets bc the bag alone wasn't enough. My dog is 63lbs and long, and fits wonderfully. The inside is made of felt, so we'll see how long it holds up this season. Downside is that it's still quite large when in the stuff sack - almost as big as my sleeping bag, so it'll be bulky for backpacking.

Such a great bag. Very cozy
Very soft, comfy and durable. But there’s no way ( XXL even) that our dog can fit IN the sleeping bag, so we used it as an extra lining for her and purchased an adult size sleeping bag. LolIt’s not the bag itself. It’s a great product. Very warm and sturdy zippers…. Just not big enough for her. But when you camp, extra layers are good anyway. So I’ll keep it for her.( image of the bag completely unzipped and spread out. She’s laying on top of it. Lol)

Great for large dogs.
These bags were for my son’s large dogs. They love them. One likes to sleep in the bag zipped up the other likes it unzipped and he sprawls out on it.

Cute and cozy!
The media could not be loaded. When we first got this my puppy was less than 3 months old and all she wanted to do was chew the zipper. But now we are 5 months old and we love to snuggle in it after swimming or a bath! We are finally old enough to go camping next week, so we will use it in the great outdoors….can’t wait! She looks so adorable snoozing in the cozy comfort of this pet sleeping bag. Comes with a handy stuff sack so we can put it away easily or take it with us.

camping and backpacking!
Needed something my 80 lb Pitbull could get dirty while camping and backpacking and I could just throw it in the washing machine when I get home.

Nice but a little small for a big dog
There isn't anything really dog specific about the sleeping bag itself, except that it's about 1/2 the length of an adult human sized sleeping bag. It seems to have the same construction and quality of most low-mid priced bags for people. My 100lb Rhodesian Ridgeback did her best to snuggle into the bag while tent camping two nights this past weekend, but she was just too big to zip...we ended up throwing extra blankets over her. The air temps were in the low to mid 40's. I wish this bag was just a tad bigger, but it does work and would be awesome for a dog in the 50-75lb range.
