Would it be better for the consumer if there was some sort of weather protection for this? Yes, absolutely, but that is not the case. It has been an incredibly hot summer, and I have received many items that I ordered online, that were supposed to be solid, in liquid form. I have not received any such project sent with a cool pack or refrigeration or anything of the sort, so this is not a business practice that this particular company has; this is just the case with most online ordering when it's hot. If you are not willing to receive your product in this condition, I advise waiting until it cools down to order it online.That being said, I just put my chocolate bar in the fridge, and while it may not have been pretty, it completely resolidified (as raw cacoa butter would and does). It may not have been pretty, but the quality of this chocolate, in my opinion, is OUT OF THIS WORLD. To be so incredibly creamy without any added dairy is a culinary feat. The chile heat is real and lasting; it is not an uncomfortable burning, it is a complementary and unexpected heightening of the experience. The chocolate isn't sickly sweet, yet it feels and tastes so decadent. The texture of this bar, even after having melted and resolidified, was the best that I have ever experienced in a dairy-free bar. Is it expensive? Yes. If you are not comfortable with the price, you don't have to purchase the product. I received this item at a discount, but I will personally indulge in it again at full price, for very special occasions. This is not like a Snickers bar to just eat as a snack.
