Great, keeps my iron cord out of the way as it should. Attached easily to my ironing board.

This cord holder is a big improvement over my prior one. Yes, as one reviewer noted, the arm is a little shorter at about 13" in height, but it's more than adequate to keep the cord out of the way when I'm ironing. What I like most are the secure positions. There are notches to keep the cord holder standing erect and to keep it folded against the ironing board when not in use. This holder doesn't flop over and move around like my old one. I recommend it.

This ironing board holder is perfect for your ironing tasks. The wire loop at the top, which holds the cord off of the ironing board, is well designed and will not break off like the plastic holder on other models. The screw part which can be tightened to hold the cord minder to the ironing board is metal and very sturdy plus the "c" clamp which holds the unit to your ironing board is very solid and does not twist or bend. + The pictures on this Amazon webpage show the screw knob without a flat cap that would press against the underside of your ironing board. Fortunately the unit that I received does have a nice flat cap on the screw part which will prevent you from poking holes in your ironing board. To tilt the long wire section pull the small loop close to the "c" clamp frame straight out and the wire will rotate easily.

It does the job. The top guide opening is too small for the iron cord, but the rest of it is fine.

Seems to be made well, but the design isn't that great. It needs to be at least 3 inches taller. In order for the metal spring rod to collapse, or stay firmly upright, you need to tighten or loosen the screw at the side... screwdriver needed. When I first got it I wondered why the metal spring rod wouldn't move. People who say it keeps collapsing probably have one with a loose screw. It's annoying, but it will do until I find a better one. I plan to find a better one.

Cord holders seem to fail way too regularly at the plastic cord clip at the top. Nice metal stands, good clamps around the ironing board. Functional but too fragile. This one has a metal loop at the top instead of the failure-prone plastic on our previous holders. I know ironing is a fading practice. Casual wash-and-wear with wrinkles is the new business attire. A bit of effort brings even a casual cotton shirt or slacks forward, and is essential for a dress shirt even under a coat. Plus pillowcases and sheets just look and feel better after a few minutes with the iron. For even those part-time duties, a good cold holder makes the task easier. One that breaks a lot, not so much. Get A Good One Like This!

Well made and sturdy, the clamp on the bottom did not open wide enough for the table. I also thought that the pole was not long enough for me. All in all it is nice.

The clamp works, including on a felt pad over your ironing board, and the upper cord guide works nicely with the steam iron connection to the base. Happy!
