Good piece of kit. Nice and bright (very bright). Easy to use. Simply press the button for different options. Haven't needed to use the app as the supplied remote is enough. It's built well. Packaged well. The battery lasts for a long time. It's easy to charge. Simple usb c.

Epic light for the money. well made. no need to care about the rain water,its water poof. great for indoors for lights. Also for dogging and sex partys. if you want to flash ,get this light. Shaba...

Works like a charm, had a bit of trouble connecting to the app a couple times and the remote can be a lil bit of a pain but nothing to warrant not buying it. The brightness is great on all colours and holds its charge well. Definitely worth the buy for me.

I thought this would be a good fun light to have as a photographer but it's not nearly as strong as any bedside table light, so save you money and buy another one because this is not it. Unfortunately I missed the return deadline so if you buy it make sure to test it straight away!

This tube light is shorter than many of the RGB tube lights that are flooding the market right now but wow does it pack a punch.Build:This light is reassuringly heavy (274g) and feels well made for a 20cm light. It has a tripod screw socket on one end and 1x UBS and 1x USB micro port under a rubber protective cover on the other end. One port is to charge the built in rechargable batter and the other port is to charge items from the light- it doubles as a USB battery bank! Winning. There are two small holes to attach the included wrist straps. The ports are covered because the light is IP67 water proof. No worries if it rains on set! The unit itself is magnetic so you can attach it to metallic objects to help mounting the light. There is also another magnet included which I think is to neutralise the magnet if you don't want that. Finally there is a (cheap) remote control that covers off the basic functions, in case you don't want to use the phone app. I don't love the remote but see it as bonus which add reliability to the app, which requires WiFi to operate (more on this later).Features:It's obviously an RGB light and covers the basic options of hue and brightness dimming. As there are no physical buttons on the tube itself aside from power, you need the remote or app to access everything. There is a CCT mode as well which allows you to set your white balance too. The RGB mode allows a few effects like cycling through the colours in a sort of party mode. These modes are not as rich or easy to access as some other brand but they are mostly there. The app allows 2 extra modes - scene and music. Scene is basically just some preset colours and the colour scrolling modes so don't add much value. The music mode however should be on every RGB light built and I can't understand why it isn't. It allows the light to react to music and pulse with the beat. It's cool but not flawless in its consistency.The App / connecting to the lighThe app warrants a few comments, especially as some other reviews couldn't even connect to it. The app is called Tuya, and from what I can tell it isn't made by Luxceo (although I'm not sure). First, you had to hold down the power button on the light for 3 seconds. The light will flash and a tiny green light seems to come on in the light. When you turn on Bluetooth on your phone and open the app, it doesn't automatically recognise light. You have to search through the huge range if generic smart things and select "Lighting- Bluetooth '. It isn't particularly obvious nornintuitive, but it is there. The app seems to be a generic smart things app which on the one hand is great in theory and you can aggregate your items in one app and potentially group across brands of lights or whatever. In practice it's the only light that doesn't have its own app and results in functionality that is in the app but not supported by the light. For example the app also has a menu with one item in Chinese and I have no idea what it is but doesn't seem to do anything, and another items that says it isn't supporter. I also found that the app lost connectivity once or twice and when that happened it struggled to easily find the light again. Occasionally I had to repair, but generally it worked OK.VerdictWhilat it is not up to the standards of a professional shoot it will be fine for most consumer uses. It is magnetic and has a music mode and I'm a compete sucker for that! It's generally well made and whilst it could do with its own app, thr Tuya app mostly gets the job done. The light is pretty powerful too for its size. For the price I think its a great entry point for an affordable small tube light.

I tested it at home and it was good. So I took it on a job when I needed a bit of extra light - and the remote was completely dead so not good for purpose. I got it back home, thinking the problem might have been the battery - to find it's working fine again. So... a good light but the first time I needed it, it let me down.
