ShieldNSeal Vacuum Seal Bags (Black and Clear Zipper Bags, 5" x 8")

I have used a lot of bags for jerky in the past. I am on my second order of these zipper bags and they are by far my favorite vacuum bag for 4-6oz packages of homemade jerky. As long as quality stays at this level I will keep buying them. Highly recommend. 5x8" size

I bought these to package and seal my home grown hops. I was able to cram 1 ounce of dried, whole hops into these bags. I had to really cram them down into the bag to get enough room for my sealer to operate, if you use these for hops I recommend using gloves to smush down the hops. The label strip is a nice touch, easy to identify the variety of hops I package. It easier to write your information on the label with a sharpie before you fill the bag, hindsight is 20/20.

Worked perfectly wit my vacuum sealer. Material is thick enough for most soft/pliable items. However, my homemade jerky poked micro holes in the material and would not hold the seal. For everything else, these worked great. I really like having the clear side to actually see what is in the bag. Will mostly be using these for food on backpacking trips.

This are great for convenience, however about a third of the bags don't hold the vacuum seal. I have a small beef jerky company and use vacuum bags regularly so I'm pretty sure it's not user error.

These bags are awesome! I use them as edible treat bags. I met these guys at a convention and got a sample bag from them, and I had to order some the following week! They are very durable and Very easy to use. Just drop in the treats and seal the bottom! I use my food saver machine to seal the bottoms just lock the food saver on the bottom of the bag and press seal.

Wasn’t sure at first. After trying a few times I’m quite satisfied. Very good for storing pre measured snacks and servings. Good for lunchboxes. Picnics.

These are awesome. If they come in clear let know.

the bags worked great for my purpose. I have a seal-a-meal and was able to use the 8x5 bags without any trouble.

Bags are not that big and after you seal it its takes up 25% of the bag mainly where the label starts. But super high quality bags. Material used is A+.
