I just washed it twice before wearing and it didn't need ironing if that is one of your concerns. I was interviewing for a fire department job as a PR man so I thought I would get in character. Haven't heard about the job, but the shirt is worth it anyway.For a firefighter or roughneck it would be a great gift....This XL Long size is just about the right size for someone around 180-220 pounds and around 6 foot tall. I am 6 foot and 200 pounds and it fit well tucked into jeans with an undershirt.If I decide I don't need it later on I have a firefighter cousin who would enjoy it. It looks like it will really help repel flames in a pinch, but is casual enough to wear anytime. Not scratchy and not too heavy. I wear a red T-shirt underneath it.

This is a pretty nice fr shirt. I have two of them and am happy with the fit. The material is fairly comfortable.

I worked in a refinery and wore these FR shirts for 5 years, these are nice shirts they wear well, large pockets, good work shirt! The reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because Lapco went from snaps to buttons. They do have this same shirt with the snaps type buttons but the cost went up, not sure why Lapco made this decision.

I love my Lapco work shirt. I wear a med and it fits fine. (is a little oversized so you can wear undergarments. This is my every-day work shirt. Looks good even if not pressed.

This is one of the shirts i weld in on a daily basis. Haven't had any issues yet, its pretty light and it looks sharp.
