Works great!
Very nice and easy to use. This item is well made and allows you to monitor four items at the same time. I recently cooked four steaks and they all varied slightly in thickness and by being able to monitor each one individually they all came out perfect. Easy to clean probes and the temperature is very accurate. The unit allows you to walk away from the grill and still keep an eye on the temperature with the remote monitor. Great digital thermometer.

Best smoking wireless thermometer
Love this meat thermometer. It has really good range. It is pretty easy to use. The temperature is pretty accurate. I love the reliability so you do not need an app on your phone and Bluetooth on all the time. Had one before that you had to be on WiFi and have Bluetooth on your phone to use. It was terrible compared to this. Great value for the money. Highly recommend

Works as expected
These were fantastic. Accurate, quick feedback. I didn’t exercise the max range, but had no issues. They worked great, cleaned up easy and it all goes back in the box easily for uncluttered storage. Total game changer for smoking meat. The alarms aren’t audible and just flash the backlight. Helpful, but can be tedious to adjust. There are lots of presets, but if you want something custom you need to go to BBQ and set your ranges. It goes to the upper bound first, but I had to set the lower bound first since it was higher than the upper bound I wanted.

Excellent Multi-probe Thermometer -- Only One Complaint
I have been using a couple of single-probe thermometers for many years. I always thought it would be nice to own a multi-probe unit, and even better to have one that didn't keep me "anchored" to the grill (or oven) to monitor the readings. I hopped on Amazon to look at the multi-probe thermometers. I first looked at the Bluetooth style, but found, in the reviews, that if you get out of range, the Bluetooth disconnects and can clear your readings. I also looked at some WIFI units, but I was hesitant to add another IoT device, especially wondering about the security practices of companies that are in the thermometer business. So I decided to go with an RF unit, and landed on the ThermoPro TP829. It has many nice features, including: -- 4 probes -- a small "base" unit that the probes attach to -- a larger handheld receiver/controller unit that you can carry with you to set the meat type or desired "done" temperature for each probe -- both the base unit and receiver/controller unit have fold out stands -- the system has a 1000 foot range -- nothing has to be installed on your WIFI -- there is no app to install on your phone I used the system today to cook a large package of chiken thighs on the grill. It was very easy to set up, and it worked very well. The thighs came out just right and were tender and juicy. So that's all of the good stuff, now for my one complaint... The receiver/controller has magnets on the back; however, the base unit has NO magnets, which is inconvenient for the piece that is supposed to be out at the grill. I know that many gas grills have side shelves, so you can stand it up or lay it down on one of those, but there are other grills that do not have that. I don't quite understand why they went through the trouble to put magnets on the receiver/controller that you carry with you, but did not put any on the base unit that is at the grill. Perhaps it's because the cases are made of plastic and they are worried about you sticking it to the side of a hot grill, IDK. But the other single-probe thermometers I have DO have magnets on the back and parts of those cases are plastic. Anyway, for my use, I had some magnetic tape strips, so I cut some to size and now my base unit also has magnets on the back. Aside from that one complaint, I still give this system 5 stars, and I highly recommend it!

Pretty good.
It works well and seems accurate. The receiver could be slightly easier to use.

Wired probes just work better
I upgraded to these after being unable to pair my dual tempspikes to their receiver. The ease of use and simplicity just makes them so much better than any wireless probe that needs an app. I added some (4) adhesive magnets on the back of the probe hub and that allows it to stick to the fridge, the oven control panel or the smoker itself. I also tested these when I received them with some ice water and they read 32 degrees exactly.

Analyzed accuracy-its a winner!
Having tried one wifi, and several bluetooth wireless thermometers, this is the ONLY one that works, and it is accurate. Atttached are two photos checking calibration and probe-tracking. Thfirst ohoto shows all 4 probes in a bowl of ice and water, while set in Celsius readout mode. In a perfect wirld they would all read 0 deg C. Reading eother 1or 2 is just fine as therno probes typically are less accurate at the ends of their ranges. The lowest temp I will be working at is 80F or so, for cold-smoking Lox salmon. As for the high end, i poured boiling water into a coffee cup which cooled it 20 degrees (now set to Fahrenheit) and notice how the probes match! Again, within a degree or 2. None of the multiprobe thermometers I have tested were within 3 degrees and some were 5F apart with one occasionally reading 50F high! If I was smoking a cabinet full of fish and saw that, I would freak out that the chips caught fire baking my precious food! As for the distance this works, i havent tested the range, other than maybe 50 feet. Since my smokehouse id about 200 feet from the house, the 1000-ft range of this thermometer should be perfect! Plusses: A. The range (if as stated) is excellent! I need at least 250ft and thats well within the specs. B. Bright backlighting, nice readable displays C. Each channel has an alarm, can be different. This is great for a smoker when you want to monitor the cabinet temperature. Chips sometimes catch fire or go out and extra probes monitor top and bottom of the cabinet and inside two meat locations all with alarms. D. Frequent updates, every few seconds so nothing “gets away from you”! Things I am not thrilled with: A. This is a BIG one-I wish it did GRAPHING of temperature (much easier to implement on a phone with a graphical display). Seeing temperature trends in any kind of cooking or smoking is incredibly helpful, and I miss this from some other thermometers I have used with Bluetooth, though frequent dropouts plagued those units, and I hated that. B. I really wish this was a wifi device using an app on my iPhone, it’s just so much simpler to not have to carry a phone and the receiver. I have wifi all over my 1.5 acres. 2. The wires are not super rugged and tend to kink. The spools for them mostly prevent probe wire storage tangles, and are helpful. ***All in all, this is an excellent thermometer, especially for smoking, and the price is reasonable!

I like it a lot.
I have their thermometer TempPro TP17H for years, but I like to have wireless, so I purchased this model. It works well and I am very happy that I can control temperature of grilled meat from inside of the house. Recommended.

I'm absolutely impressed with this item....
This is the 3rd temp probe I've owned. So far, I like this one the best. The layout is easy to understand, the functions are user friendly, customization easy. I have not tested the range outside the house, but my house is 2000 sq.ft. and there is no signal loss in the house. I roasted a whole chicken with some aromatics in the cavity. So, I used two of the four probes, one in the bird and the other in with the aromatics. I was able to more accurately determine when to apply tent to prevent cooking errors. Probes clean up easily with a soapy cloth. Probe wires are longer than my other models. Love the probe wire storage spools.
