These are good socks; warm and super comfortable socks. They are pricey but well worth the money, in my opinion. I don’t mind paying a little extra for a little extra. I never imagined paying $25+ for a pair of socks, but, in this case, I don’t mind. I feel that I got what I paid for. My cheapo socks, which I’ve worn my entire life, now seem like cheapo socks. I guess that’s why I’ve ordered my fifth pair of Darn Tough Socks and plan on ordering more as I need them. Comfortable, practical, and well worth the cost.

Every person should own a pair of these socks. They are extremely durable and comfy. There is no doubt that it keeps your feet warm. They are lifetime warranty too.

These socks get great reviews so I decided to see what the fuss was all about.Well…they’re socks.Not exactly exciting, lolBut they are nice well made wool blend socks and they do a very good job of keeping my feet warm on this cold Winter nights and mornings. They’re definitely warmer than my usual cotton Dickie’s socks (which are pretty good) do. I’ve had them about a week now and have worn them multiple times (which I never do with cotton socks since they absorb odors faster) before I wash them just to see how well they held up.So far so good, and very little odor (been airing them out near a window in between wears).I walk at least 3 miles a day, usually on easy hiking trails and in neighborhood parks. Nothing crazy but I do run through socks faster than a lot of people do, so I’ll be curious to see how well these hold up. Hopefully a long time, but maybe it won’t matter since this Vermont company has a great replacement guarantee.$27 or whatever it was I paid does seem a bit pricey though, so I just bought a pair of SmartWool socks for just a little less since they come in a bright blue color I like. We’ll see how the 2 brands compare after they arrive and I have some more time to get used to wearing the both of them.I don’t think you can go wrong buying 1 pair of these just to see how you like them…besides it’s good to buy Made in the USA sometimes :-)

These socks look sharp, they're very comfortable, neither too thick nor too thin, I just love them. If you can deal with the price, then just go ahead and buy them because they are a wonderful luxury and something you will wear for years and enjoy every time you put them on. I've heard of a Pacific trail through hiker who actually wears them out and takes advantage of the offer to replace the socks. But for most users these really will last for a lifetime.

I bought 1 pair to try for work and if these were cheaper, I'd buy 100 pairs!! These are some of the comfiest socks I've ever worn. They're wool so I was a bit hesitant since I work 10.5 hour days but they're very breathable and my feet are never hot. They fit like a glove, not too tight and definitely not loose. They don't slide around or bunch up. I will buy more down the road but they are expensive. But you get what you pay for.

I gave 4 stars because these socks are VERY well made, and very comfortable if they fit right. I withheld a 5th star because of sizing issues. I wear a size 12 E or EE shoe, depending on manufacturer. I bought the X-Large size socks (12-14), and the length in the foot is good. However, the width of the sock is too narrow, at "full-stretch" to fit my foot width, it squeezes the foot so tightly that my foot begins to hurt. And the upper part of the sock is so tight that it leaves dents in my shins and lower calf.I'm bummed because they are soft, and feel like they would otherwise be very comfortable. Unfortunately, I bought three pair, and TRIED to love them, but I can’t wear any of them for more than about an hour at most. Frustrating.Highly recommend if you have narrower feet and skinnier calves.

I bought these for my husband who already has 7 pairs so I thought I would buy a spare. He loves these socks and wears them in summer and winter. He says they keep his feet warm in the winter and cool and dry during the summer plus they are guaranteed for life

Die Socken sind warm und qualitativ hochwertig aber auch sehr dick und für wandern, meiner Meinung nach, weniger komfortabel als günstigere alternativen.

Sooo warm and comfortable. Washes well ( look up instructions thou). But doesn't need too much washing as keeps smell away.....plus drys and airs quick. But best is it's feeling when your walking all day.

Best hiking socks ever especially for anyone prone to blisters.
