Works but I have one gripe. Just about every wiring diagram on the net for 6 wire plugs/sockets has the terminals labeled with the standard wire colors. Black for 12V, White for ground and so on. Not this socket, Black is labeled AX and white is GD. It only takes a few minutes to decode it but using the same labels as everyone else would be nice. Made in China tho so no surprise.

Worked great to replace my old worn out one.
Great buy and works perfect. It seems a little thin but so far it is holding up very well.

Easy installation
The wires were corroded and broken on my factory plug. This fixed the problem quickly and easily.

Plastic Lasted for 5 Years At Least.....
Just replaced this one I purchased and mounted in my F150 5 years ago with another vendor that has an all metal one for the same price. Because of the lack of reinforcement where the bolt holes are, these molded plastic sockets will break there due to the stress of inserting/removing the trailer plug. Connecting and stuffing all 7 wires in is a chore in any of these so you don't want to do it more than once.

Hopkins makes some good stuff. as a tip
Hopkins makes some good stuff. as a tip, put actual terminal ends on the wires instead of just stripping the end and shoving them under the screws. Bonus tip. put a little bit of grease on the screws to prevent rust so that you can work on it in few years when your "wife" (because no no, it wouldnt be YOU of course.) backs into garbage can and it needs to be changed again. also put a little grease in the actual outlet and on your trailer plug.

Housing dropped from my work bench and broke in two. Typical chinese quality wrapped up in a good old anglo saxon name..
