Q: Is it good for heavy duals?

NO. Do not duel with this saber ever! It is for display and demonstration purposes only! The hilt is very durable but the blade is thin and break easily. There are special dueling sabers available just look them up.

Q: Do the 4 lights in hilt of saber ever go off cause very much a waste of power does anyone know about maybe a switch or some combo to turn off at all

Doesn’t look like there is a timer for it but just making sure it’s off is always good. Only when the blade is in it can get annoying as the way to turn off the light is to hold the ignition down while it turns the blade on as well

Q: Is the blade retractable

No the blade is not retractable but it is removable. There is a special piece that fits in the hole if you just want to carry the hilt around.
