These work well and stay on during and after taking showers. They are not blistering hot but provide a nice heat for several hours.

If you find the capsicum plasters that are available over the counter in American pharmacies to be feeble and disappointing in the heat/adherence/longevity departments, these might meet your needs.These are a pretty solid alternative to my favorite capsicum plasters. They are a good size right out of the packet, so I don't need scissors to cut them down, but they can be cut if an even smaller plaster is desirable. They generate a lot of heat that lasts a long time; they get me through my commute, a full shift at work, and my commute home. And they stay in place well.As with any plasters like these, I recommend removing them in the shower after letting the soap and hot water weaken the adhesives connection to your skin.The only vague downside of these plasters is that they have a very strong and long lasting earthy smell; like fresh wet ceramics clay. It isn't a bad smell, but it is profound. So, if you require and absence of any sort of fragrance/smell, or just don't care for the smell of wet clay, this particular ariety of capsicum plaster is probably not for you.My favorite capsicum plasters are branded "Rheumaplasts" and are only available in Europe. My mom was a flight attendant and would bring them back from Germany for me. I am able to obtain them via Amazon Deutsch, but sometimes the shipping makes the price kind of high relative to product quantity/weight/packing. Odorless/fragrance free, POWERFULLY HOT, LONNNNNNG LASTING, can be cut down to smaller sizes, stay put, rabidly reactivate in the presence of moisture (if you plan on a shower assisted removal, either wait till patch is over 24hrs old, or brace yourself to try and not scream when the water hits it.)

I tried one of these patches and actually could not even tell I had a pain relief patch on. No heat; no pain relief. The next time I put one on each side of my back and got very minimal pain relief. I will not purchase againUpdateI have tried these patches for quite a while and while they are not hot, they do provide sufficient pain relief so I am updating my rating and I will buy them again

The patche's aren't hot like I expected them to be. I expected at least warmth from them, but I can't even tell they are on me.

approximately 2 days after using the patches , this severe skin reaction occurred- This did not happen with Walgreens topical capsaicin. I threw away my patches that caused this reaction

Really good but becareful is your skin is sensitive because it really sticks and it warm up good
