The explanations are clear without being overwhelming. What I appreciate most is how accessible the set makes the practice. You can pull a single card for focused work, build a short sequence, or simply explore intuitively. It works equally well for beginners and those already familiar with yogic traditions.

I love these Mudra cards! I keep them in alphabetical order in the box. The booklet is organized by condition, so it's easy to find the right Mudra for what you want to accomplish, and then locate the respective card in the box. All the information you need to practice, including the various benefits, is on the card itself. In addition to an excellent photograph you will find a detailed description of where each finger is to be placed. Very clear and accessible!

i've been practicing yoga for years and recently learned there are MANY more mudras (hand gestures) than the handful taught by/known to my regular teachers. so, i bought a bunch of books on them and began to practice. i SERIOUSLY wish i'd found this deck of cards BEFORE i'd bought all the other mudra books - that would have saved quite a lot of money and shelf space. the deck is extremely comprehensive and shows a number of mudras not illustrated in any of the other books i have. each gesture is very clearly lllustrated and thoroughly explained. the cards themselves are very heavy duty and great quality - they'll hold up very well. although didn't think i would, i actually like the card format a lot. it's very easy to sort out and organize the mudras according to any desired practice and it's simple to reorganize em any way you like. my only criticism is that i wish they'd printed the number of each mudra on the front AND back of the card. i also wish they'd printed the number of each as well as its name in the otherwise great accompanying booklet. that would have made them even easier to sort through and find. still, that's a very slight criticism on an otherwise VERY well done set of info. i'd thoroughly recommend to anyone interested in starting or expanding a mudra practice.

It's my fault for not reading the description thoroughly, but these are a deck of cards and not a book as I thought they were. the content is great, concise and to the point.

I had checked out some books and prefer these cards. Each card provides explanation of the Mudra and shows how to manipulate your hands. How often to do the practice and what it benefits. No need to go thru a book to find your selection, just pull your card out of the deck and keep it out for reminders until ready to move on.

I absolutely love these cards! The pictures are vibrant like the cover, not drawings. Brief explanation of purpose and how to use on the back along with any visualizations to obtain goal. It comes with a little booklet categorizing the mudras for different purposes which I love. I use them every morning and night when I can. I'm starting at two minutes and working my way up as I have arthritis. I would definitely buy these again or as a gift! Way better than a book!

These are WoNDERfUL Hand Yoga Cards !! ♡ They have simple instructions and very clear photographs for each MUdRA. i find adding MUdRAS occasionally to my YOGA Routine really helps me relax & focus. They are also a FUN way to do Yoga if you can't do the asanas due to health issues. Happy with purchase =)
