I used to do gel nails at home but developed a gel allergy. I have never had much success keeping regular polish on my nails, it always ended up chipped or smudged. I saw a lot about Essie's Gel Couture polishes and wanted to give it a shot. I saw this color on Essie's TikTok page and was in love but could not find it in stores near me. I was excited to find it online and was even more excited when it came because it was beautiful. The color was gorgeous and I got multiple comments on my nails, with a few people even asking me where I had gotten them done. Even my Mom, who doesn't like painting her nails asked if I could give her a manicure with this color. For me, the polish did not last the 2-weeks, but it was easy to remove and quick to dry, so I didn't mind needing to redo them after a few days. If/when I run out, I will purchase again!

Seller review-5 stars. Product arrived on time even around the end of year holidays. Price is cheaper than at the drug store, so no complaints there! Product- it’s a decent gel polish. This color could have used three coats to get that truly even distribution when it’s dry. Note- the color “swatch” looks more brown than the true color. The color when applied is more a brick red or red wine color than the swatch would suggest. It’s a nice color, but not what I was expecting.

My absolutely favorite color from the Essie Gel line. My manicure lasts almost 2 weeks with minor chipping. Love this formula, just wish they had more color selections.

Gel couture is one of my go-to regular nail laquers. The first picture shows my nails a week after painting them and I did not take care of them well (dishes, yard work, bathing kids, cleaning, etc). It still looks pretty good after a week despite me being hard on them. This shade, Model Clicks (370), is beautiful. My only complaint is that it required 3 coats to fully cover. After two coats the color was beautiful and a little bit brighter but it was slightly transparent (not fully opaque) and looked a little uneven and streaky. A third coat fixed it but the color was noticeably darker. Still very pretty though. My daughter said it looks black, and I suppose in dim light or from far away it kind of does. In daylight or up close you can tell that it's a deep, dark red.

Estas fotos son a 1 semana de la aplicación. Realmente solo se cayó el barniz de la punta del pulgar e índice. Son caros comparados con los normales pero realmente valen la pena. Yo lo aplico con un basecoat que es para que dure más tiempo el barniz y obviamente el top coat de la misma linea. Realmente impresionante! Y el color divino. La última foto es recien pintado
