Good replacement battery and charger
The battery and charger work well. I had an old VF707U battery for my JVC camcorder that would not hold a charge. This one works great. I like that the metal wall prong folds into the charger. That way I can carry it in my camera bag and not worry about it scratching the camcorder.

It’s ALIVE!! A comparison view
Device: JVC GR-D347U, Digital Video Camera (camcorder). I received the Kastar battery and pack on the first estimated delivery date (very happy about that) arrived in my mailbox and assumed it needed to be charged. Battery came pre-charged (very happy about that). Plugged it into my camcorder and brought my 2006 JVC Camcorder to life! Battery stays in place, and overall comparable (slightly better) to my JVC battery.

Battery great , charger no good
The battery worked great in the camera but the charger does not fit the battery very well and scratches up the pins on the battery. My unit could have been defective but it looks as its supposed to. Its very hard to mount the battery into the charger you may be better of buying the cable style charger, Then charging the battery inside of your camera.
