Love the fact that they were telescopic. Raising washing higher in air to blow dry.It is easy to extend the prop and lock it in. They are solid once put together.It is great to have replaced my old rusted through props.So these props were a bargain and live up to their name. Easy to unhook and store off the line.

Replaced my old extendable props which you twisted to keep the prop extended, unfortunately one of the plastic tightened split rendering it useless for its purpose .These props have a washer style which screws onto a threaded section when you extend the prop, the metal is a good quality feels weighty and extends to a good height to raise the washing above the ground.

items arrived, they are an awful light blue which doesnt match the dark blue in the images. Seem decent enough but not a fan of the sky blue.

In my past experience of washing line props the height setting has tended to slip, resulting in the fastening being over-tightened and breaking or needing to wrap insulating tape around the top part to stop it sliding back into the bottom part under load. Arguably having the prop work hassle free is the most important feature so full marks there.However, I'm slightly disappointed with the durability compared to previous props. The colour faded quickly even in my shady garden, the plastic coating cracked and it started to corrode. I had an unfortunate accident where I was tripped over by my dog and fell onto the pole. The lower tube buckled and snapped exactly at the bottom end of the top tube, but remained attached to the washing line and my fall didn't bring the line down. However, it was a no-brainer to re-order the same because the quality is good for the modest price.

Hubby says it looks good quality,extends easily but not tested it yet with the washing.
