Bird Netting Review
First off it is a B-I-T-C-H to install, but I knew this B4 hand after watching Youtube videos. If you have an open pen for your ducks or chickens during the day - I see no other alternative. Everyone says it works to keep hawks and Owls from killing your poultry. I'm still in the process of predator proofing the pen because we are in the country and we see & hear these critters all the time. I bought the 50 X 50 for a 40 X 40 pen and my son got totally frustrated and walked off the job when we came up short on the last side, which was on us because we didn't center it correctly over the center 8' 4 X 4 post. I set it up like a circus tent and zip tied down to the wire fencing. Also, it catches on everything, so if you use a combination of T posts & wood like I did - it is even harder to move around and adjust, but I did it and it looks exactly like what I wanted. The baby ducks are on order & plan on chickens too, so I can't address my experience yet.

Avoid this horrible bird & animal killing product!
We purchased this net to protect blueberry bushes from the birds/squirrels. It worked by KILLING them!!!The 25x50 foot net arrived absent any chute, wrap or means of managing installation. Additionally, the net completely lacks any edging to indicate sides. Blue cords indicated each corner. The stretch and light weight are actually detrimental for the product (NOT A FEATURE!). There were multiple tears already in the net upon receipt. After laying out on a driveway, I wove color-coded nylon catfish line along each edge to help orient the net. This simple (but exhausting) effort helped manage the net (and should have been there from the start). Installation was hard, as the net's thin weight line caught on everything.Once up, the net proceeded to catch so many birds, my wife freaked out. The line is so thin, many birds didn't see the net, and tried to fly through it, get caught, tangled and choked. Though we tried to make it taut, the lightweight net allowed the birds to twist/pull more of it onto themselves. Untangling dead birds was practically impossible and had to be removed by cutting the net. On the ground, it caught rabbits. The net poses a child hazard, and should never be used where a toddler could get caught. The season is over, and so is this net. Burning it is the only responsible way to ensure it doesn't continue to kill.

Great size; very thin
Very thin. Does the job, but not very durable. I’ve had to re-tact it several times since I installed it this past summer. One undeniable benefit is that once secured, the netting is small enough that birds are staying in/out and snakes are not getting in. The first day it was up, a copperhead trying to get in our chick grow out pen was caught up in it. (It only managed to kill one chick before getting tangled In the netting, and did not get fully in.)

Bird friendly, two person minimum, plan, clear area, zip tie, strong net
First of all, this 50X50 foot size net requires at least two persons, preferably 3. lesser sizes, maybe not. This net will pick up yard debris... sticks, weeds, ect like a magnet and those items will cause it to tangle until stretched so KEEP IT OFF THE GROUND as you put it up! If you plan to build a frame for the net, do that first, stretch and attach with zip ties. I was able to stretch this net over my enclosed garden... approximately 35 foot square with 7 foot walls on all four sides. It stretched nicely but takes patience! When you take it out of the box, unfold it and cut the ties that are around the net carefully. It looks like a huge roll of hair 50 foot long. Keep it OFF the ground unless you want to tangle it with ground debris. I then centered the "roll", found the end and used zip ties to attach it to the bottom of the first wall. Then lifted it over the wall and worked it over the top keeping it taut and zip tied it as I went., Expanding over a 36 foot area, the net sagged maybe a few inches but that was very acceptable and I can easily walk under it without it getting even close to hitting my head. Being new, this net is very strong so don't be afraid to pull it tight. This net seems to be bird friendly in that it has not ensnared any birds but did keep them out of a garden that they use to fly freely into. I observed birds avoid even landing on it at the wall ends. Some did land but then took off immediately without being caught it the net. This net has a 1 inch square hole pattern and is invisible to the human eye beyond 15 feet. it is made of nylon so it should hold up to the sun ultra violet rays for a few years but that will be determined. Also, the fall and spring in central Texas brings leaf fall from the surrounding live oaks so it will be interesting to see if I can blow them off from underneath the next. A good bit of effort is required but in the end, I am very happy with the results... and no more birds, squirrels, or rabbits are in my garden eating holes in my veggies!

Thin, hard to manage when unrolled, tore when bug was caught
Thinner than we expected... too much of a pain to put over our pen for turkeys. June bug got wrapped up in it and net tore instead of bug pulling apart 🤷♀️🤦♀️. It was rolled up awesome for installation just not feasible for my use evidently.

Nightmare to untangle
This netting is quite durable and thin--but was all tangled when we received it. It was an absolute nightmare to unwrap and lay out to find the ends, etc. Catches on every leaf, twig, branch, my rings, and was terrible to use. We bought it to cover our strawberry plants, and as we were putting it down a robin got caught in it and flapped around in the netting, panicking and wild-eyed. It was not a pretty sight, and she eventually escaped. I would much rather have holes in my strawberries, than to watch that again. Poor thing. We are leaving it on the berries for today, but the netting not used is such a mess, it's not worth it to me to go through this hassle.

Invisible the best! Tore in the process of placing disappointing. Very good buy. Will buy again.
Cannot see it which is great. Could use additional staking tabs. Easy to unravel &place. Tore in some places unexpected /disappointing.

I use it to build a bird net fence to protect my garden
I have a small garden for my salad greens and herbs. But, my pet dog loves to go into my garden and stepping on my plants. What a headache! I arranged some long garden stakes around my garden and used this bird net to go alone with the stakes. One layer of bird net seems to be thin, I repeated the proccess and did double layers of bird net. It works well and my dog no longer going into my garden to mess up. Not only that, I noticed that this bird net fence also helps to prevent some other small wild aninmals.
