Hubby and I have always used backpacks and to be honest starting out on a ride kills my shoulders and back from the weight of the water. Backpacks are also is a pain having to stop and take off to get anything out. This Camelbak Repack is AMAZING, holds enough water for our trails/downhill sessions, easy to refill, doesn't restrict any movement, my shoulders and back are so happy! Delivery was super quick too!

Almost perfect
I've had this pack for nearly a year and have used it exclusively for my rides. The feeling of freedom of movement you get and no back sweat is a game changer!My only grip with this pack is the magnetic hydration tube retainer clip (The piece that actually attaches to the hose) doesn't like to stay attached. I ended up zip tying to the hose just to keep it in place.

Great bag! Only needs modification for Magnet attachment.
I am a competitive Hawaiian outrigger canoe paddler. I found this item to be perfect for hydration while paddling as it kept the mouthpiece up near my mouth so I could drink while still paddling. However, the magnet came off on my second trip and probably fell into the ocean as I could not find it in the canoe when I finished. I would love to see some sort of modification to prevent this from happening. I did email the company for a replacement and tip on how to prevent it from happening again. I will see how they respond...OK, back again Camelbak responded the very next day and is sending me a new magnet. I will try and figure out how to rig it so it wonʻt happen again. Love the hydration bag inside the back that comes with a handle to make filling the bag easy. Also has several handy compartments for other items. Comfortable to wear.

Sewing/buckle mistake
The strap buckle on the left side was sown into the webbing in the wrong direction, making it impossible to cinch the left side of the waist pack down. No way to fix unless you unstitched the webbing and sowed it up again in the correct direction.

Great pack!
The person I bought this for uses it for kayaking. The regular packs were interfering with their life jacket and seat back. This was the perfect solution! They feed the tube up the front of their lifejacket and just need to bend forward a little to get water while paddling. They are very happy with this product!
